Fuel filter of an internal combustion engine, and filter element of a fuel filter
Disclosed is a fuel filter (10) for fuel, in particular diesel fuel, of an internal combustion engine, in particular of a motor vehicle, and to a filter element of such a fuel filter. A housing (12) has at least one fuel inlet (26) for the fuel to be cleaned, at least one fuel outlet (18) for cleaned fuel, and at least one water outlet (30) for water which has been separated from the fuel. The filter element (36) is arranged in the housing (12), said filter element sealingly separating the fuel inlet (26) from the fuel outlet (18). The filter element (36) has a filter medium (38) which is designed as a hollow body and which can be permeated from the inside to the outside or from the outside to the inside in order to filter the fuel. The filter element (36) has a coalescing medium (58) designed as a hollow body for separating water contained in the fuel. The coalescing medium (58) is arranged downstream of the filter medium (38) in the flow path (78) of the fuel, around said filter medium, or in the interior (45) delimited by the filter medium. The coalescing medium (58) includes at least one regenerated-fiber coalescing system consisting of a coalescing material (60) which is suitable for coalescing water and which has at least 20 wt. % of regenerated fibers, preferably at least 50 wt. %.
Fluid Filling Diverter and Collector Apparatus
Apparatus that makes it possible to prefill spin-on filter cartridges by allowing users to easily pour fluid only into the filter cartridge input port holes. Particularly useful for applications where introducing contaminants downstream of the filter can be detrimental to the system the filter protects.
Filter module for gravity-type water purifier and gravity-type water purifier including same
Provided is a filter module for a gravity-type water purifier. The filter module for a gravity-type water purifier according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of filter members which are plate shaped, and which are fixed to each other via one or more fastening bars while arranged spaced apart from each other in parallel having gaps therebetween; and a common water collecting member coupled to the respective water collecting holes formed in the filter members, and in which filtered water produced from the filter members is collected.

HOUSING FOR FILTER ELEMENT; FILTER ELEMENT; METHODS OF USE AND MAKING
A filter assembly includes a filter head and filter cartridge. The filter cartridge includes a housing and element. The housing includes a can with an open mouth. An interface ring is secured to the can adjacent to the open mouth. The outer ring surface is against the inner wall of the can. The ring wall is angled between the first and second ends greater than one degree and less than 6 degrees. Methods of filtering and making the housing are provided.
Transmission Oil Filter Assembly
A transmission oil filter is assembled from a filter element, a base, and a cover. Each of the three pieces extends beyond the filtration media to form an inlet channel. The inlet channel is low enough to fit under a valve body. Placing the inlet in this channel ensures that the inlet draws transmission fluid at road gradients and acceleration rates at which an inlet under the filtration media would draw air.
Filter device
A filter device may include a filter housing and a filter element defining a longitudinal axis disposed in the filter housing. The filter element may be configured to be penetrated by a fluid flow in a radial direction from a raw end to a pure end of the filter element. A water separator may be disposed at the pure end of the filter element and arranged axially spaced from the same. The water separator may have a hydrophobic and annular diaphragm extending in an axial direction of the filter element configured to be penetrated by the fluid flow from a raw end of the water separator in a radially outward to a radially inward direction with respect to the longitudinal axis to separate water from the fluid flow.
Device for the suction filtration of fluids
A device for the suction filtration of fluids, such as urea solutions for exhaust gas after-treatment systems, has a tank (2) storing the fluid, and a filter element (34) arranged in the tank and provided with a filter medium (32) separating the tank contents from a clean-side inner filter cavity (20). The filter cavity extends from the bottom (10) of the tank (2) to a filling level height (28) and corresponds to a part of the filling volume of the tank (2). On the filter cavity (20), a suction connection (22) discharges the cleaned fluid by a suction pressure corresponding to a system operating pressure. The filter element (34) is provided with a filter medium (32), which is air-impermeable if suction pressures are within the range of a low system operating pressure.
Filtering device, and filtering element for use in such a filtering device
A filtering device for fluids includes a filter housing (1) and a filter element (9) received in the filter housing. The filter element has an end cap (17) on at least one end. The end cap forms an enclosure for the corresponding end edge of the filtering material (23, 35) and is fixed on an element receiver (13) interacting with the bottom part (5) of the filter housing (1) to fix the position of the filter element (9) in its functional position. The element receiver forms a fluid path for the cleaned fluid exiting the hollow chamber (19) of the filter element (9). The element receiver (13) contains a valve arrangement (55) blocking the fluid path (35). A control device (79, 83) releasing the valve arrangement (55) in the functional position is on the end cap (17) of the filtering element (9). The end cap is fixed on the element receiver (13).
Authentication system utilized in a sorbent-based dialysis system for therapy optimization
A dialysis authentication and management system comprising at least one dialysis component having at least one authentication component affixed thereon. The dialysis component can be any one of a dialyzer, sorbent cartridge, recharger or any other dialysis component. The authentication component can be selected from the group of a radio-frequency identification marker, a bar code, a one-wire security component, and a wireless authentication component. The authentication system can ensure that all components used are in proper usable condition and/or certified. The system can also manage the recharging of rechargeable components, and optionally manage dialysis therapy.
