Culture medium for plant cultivation
There is provided a medium for plant cultivation comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer chip. An ethylene content of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer included in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer chip is preferably 20 to 60 mol %. In addition, a water content in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer chip is preferably 20 to 300 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. As a result, it is possible to provide a medium for plant cultivation, which is capable of being used instead of the soil or rock wools, and with which it is possible to sufficiently grow crop plants, to have excellent recyclability, to facilitate a process for disposal the medium, and to have a small environmental burden.
Gutter for a hydroponic growing system
The hydroponic growing system may include a gutter assembly configured to manage flow of a liquid solution to one or more components of the hydroponic growing system. Further, the hydroponic growing system may include at least one growing trough movably engaged to the gutter assembly and configured to hold one or more plants. Moreover, the hydroponic growing system may include an automation assembly movably engaged with the at least one growing trough and configured to move the at least one trough from a first position on the gutter assembly to a second position on the gutter assembly via one or more engagement devices.

MINERAL WOOL PRODUCT
A mineral wool batt for use as a plant growth medium, particularly in applications for growing vegetation (including plants) in which water retention and/or the avoidance of water run of is of interest. The mineral wool batt has an absorbent layer which comprises needled mineral wool fibres; superabsorbent particles in the absorbent layer may be sandwiched between a denser upper and/or lower barrier layer(s) which assist in preventing their escape.
HYDROPONICS GROWING MEDIUM
A hydroponics growing medium comprising mineral fibres and an organic binder, the growing medium has a Weathered Interlaminar Strength of at least 4 kilopascals and a phenol content of less than or equal to 0.01% by weight.

SOILLESS PRE-VEGETATED MAT AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present application relates to novel soilless pre-vegetated mats comprising a carrier mat comprised of a material that does not degrade under exterior growing conditions, and vegetation whose roots intertwine within and under the carrier mat. The present application also relates to processes for production of the soilless pre-vegetated mats.
Hydroponic planting tower with horizontal grow platform
The present invention is directed towards an improvement to hydroponic systems using vertical platforms to cultivate plants. A horizontal platform, and system using the horizontal platform, designed to provide for plant growth in a soilless growth medium using an ebb and flow system to cultivate plants within the horizontal platform is provided. The horizontal platform uses a floating valve system to control the amount of fluid cycled through the horizontal grow platform. The present invention further provides for a device that converts a hydroponic vertical tower to a hydroponic device using a vertical tower platform which is designed to circulate nutrients for plant growth in a soilless growth medium and a horizontal platform designed to provide for plant growth in a soilless growth medium using an ebb and flow system to cultivate plants within the horizontal platform.
