A material for removing a contaminant, the material including an adsorption material for adsorption of a contaminant and a decomposition material for decomposition of a contaminant, wherein the adsorption material and the decomposition material are complexed with each other, and a contaminant decomposition onset temperature of the decomposition material is equal to or lower than a contaminant desorption onset temperature of the adsorption material.

A monolithic open cell structure apparatus including an open cell structure housing including a first side, a second side opposite the first side, a first opening located at the first side, and a second opening located opposite the first opening at a second side. The monolithic open cell structure apparatus also including a filtration portion extending from the first side to the second side within the open cell structure housing. An ambient air purifying device has a blower housing with air inlet and air outlet. In the blower housing, a flow generating device is arranged generating an air flow from air inlet to air outlet. Between air inlet and air outlet, a filter device is arranged with filter elements arranged relative to each other in a V shape. The blower housing has a servicing door through which the blower housing interior is accessible. The filter device has a filter element support held at the blower housing and supporting the filter elements. The filter element support is pivotably supported about an axis at the blower housing. The filter element support is transferrable from an operating state, in which it is completely inside the blower housing, into a servicing state, in which it projects at least partially through the servicing door from the blower housing, by pivoting about the axis.

Provided is a sneeze guard attachment for creating an air curtain between display food covered by a sneeze guard and a person. The device includes a panel, a frame affixed to the panel that creates a chamber between the panel and the sneeze guard, and a means for forcing air into the chamber. The chamber includes an open end, which allows the air to be forced out of the chamber in order to create an air curtain. The air curtain separates the display food contained in a food bar/food prep area from the consumer. A support frame for dust collection system including a drum filter and a filter cleaning system is disclosed where the frame includes a plurality of octagonal supports spaced apart from each other in an axial direction defining an octagon-shaped peripheral profile. A plurality of axial members extend between adjacent octagonal supports, and end covers are secured to the frame members with each cover including a first inlet opening and a second inlet opening. The support frame may be used in a modular dust collection with a plurality of modular segments of filter media segments secured to the frame and a filter cleaner segments corresponding to the filter media segments.

A gas filtering device includes an element and a case. The element includes a filter that filters a gas and a frame that holds a periphery of the filter. The case accommodates the element. The case includes a first member and a second member that are coupled to each other with the element interposed therebetween. The first member includes a frame holder that holds a periphery of the frame when the first member is coupled to the second member, and a temporary holder that performs temporary holding of the frame so that a part of the frame is separated from the frame holder and the frame is curved when the first member is not coupled to the second member. The second member includes a temporary-holding canceller that cancels the temporary holding of the frame by the temporary holder when the second member is being coupled to the first member.

Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for air purification in an airflow tract of vacuum cleaners. In some aspects, an air purification system for a vacuum cleaner comprises an ultraviolet (UV) light unit disposed in a first location within the vacuum cleaner along an airflow pathway, configured to emit UV light at air containing particles including dust, dirt, and microbes while the air containing the particles is flowing in the airflow pathway where the UV light unit is disposed; and a particle filter unit disposed in a second location within the vacuum cleaner along the airflow pathway, the particle filter unit comprising one or both of a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter and an active carbon filter.
