DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLUX REMOVAL FROM FURNACE PROCESS GAS
System and methods for solder flux removal from a gas stream is disclosed. In one aspect, the system includes: a scrubber chamber having a gas inlet and a gas outlet through which the gas stream is introduced into and withdrawn from the scrubber chamber; at least one rinse agent delivery mechanism for introducing a rinse agent into the scrubber chamber for contact with the gas stream, the rinse agent being at a temperature for condensing a first portion of the flux from the gas stream; a condenser portion of the scrubber chamber containing the rinse agent for receiving the gas stream, the rinse agent being at a temperature for condensing a second portion of the flux in the gas stream; and a condensed flux removal apparatus adapted for removal from the scrubber chamber of at least a portion of the rinse agent and the flux which has condensed.

A cleaner comprising: a housing having the shape of a hollow cylinder, a barrier for dividing the inner space of the housing into an upper space and a lower space; a barrier through-hole provided so as to penetrate the barrier; an intake portion provided on the circumferential surface of the housing; an exhaust portion provided to penetrate the housing; a housing discharge port penetrating the bottom surface of the housing; a cover for closing the housing discharge port; an alien-substance separating portion provided in the lower space so as to provide a channel that guides air introduced to the intake portion to the barrier through-hole; a fan provided to comprise an impeller positioned in the upper space; a rotating shaft to which the impeller is fixed, and a motor for rotating the rotating shaft; and a storage portion provided to be attachable to/detachable from the housing.
Compact cylindrical selective catalytic reduction system for nitrogen oxide reduction in the oxygen-rich exhaust of 500 to 4500 kW internal combustion engines
A compact Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system comprising a system inlet, a gas flow system and a plurality of catalyst clusters is described. The system inlet is configured to utilize heat of the cleaned exhaust to vaporize a solution of a reductant, or a precursor of a reductant, and to mix the vaporized reductant with exhaust gas to form a mixed gas. The gas flow system is configured to provide the mixed gas from the system inlet to a plurality of catalyst clusters and to provide heat from the exhaust gas to assist in vaporization of the reductant/precursor and to assist in the conversion of the precursor to the reductant. The plurality of catalyst clusters comprise SCR and ASC catalysts but can also include filter functionality.
Vortex flow apparatus
A vortex flow apparatus including a cylindrical housing that contains a fluid that flows in a swirling circular path. The apparatus may be utilized as a muffler for a combustion engine, a particle separator, or an energy conversion device that physically or chemically acts upon the fluid flow and particles contained within the apparatus. The housing defines an inlet opening that opens into the first end of the housing proximate a first end wall. An outlet tube defines an outlet opening through a first end wall. A projection is attached to a second end wall of the housing and extends into the housing. The outlet tube and projection are aligned with and centered relative to a central axis.

The honeycomb filter includes a honeycomb substrate having porous partition walls defining a plurality of cells and plugging portions. In a cross section, the cells are arranged so that a periphery of an inlet plugged cell including an open end whose shape is a square in which a length of one side is L1 is surrounded with four rectangular outlet plugged cells each including an open end whose shape is a rectangle in which a length of one side is L1 and a length of the other side is L2 (L1>L2) and four square outlet plugged cells each including an open end whose shape is a square in which a length of one side is L2. PORTABLE SYSTEM AND METHODOLOGY THAT FACILITATES DUST COLLECTION WITHIN A SILO APPARATUS
Aspects to facilitate dust collection are disclosed. In one aspect, a chute provides a dust seal between a bulk bag of material and a silo loading hatch. Here, the dust seal comprises a first seal between a first end of the chute and the bulk bag, and a second seal between a second end of the chute and the silo loading hatch. In another aspect, a collapsible chute is extended between a silo loading hatch and a discharge chute of a bulk bag such that the collapsible chute forms a dust seal between the silo loading hatch and the bulk bag. Contents of the bulk bag are released via the discharge chute so that the contents of the bulk bag flow into the silo loading hatch. For this embodiment, the dust seal prevents airborne dust associated with the flow from escaping into an exterior portion of the collapsible chute.

Provided are a holding material for a gas treatment device, which is inexpensive, has a simple structure, and exhibits high holding force, a gas treatment device, and a method for manufacturing the same. A holding material for a gas treatment device according to the present invention is a holding material, which is a holding material to be arranged, in a gas treatment device including a treatment structure and a casing for housing the treatment structure, between the treatment structure and the casing, the holding material including silica fibers and an alumina sol in an amount of 3 parts by mass or more in terms of a solid content with respect to 100 parts by mass of the silica fibers.
Honeycomb filter and production method for honeycomb filter
An object of the present invention is to provide a honeycomb filter capable of preventing depth filtration and achieving a combination of high collection efficiency and low pressure loss. The honeycomb filter of the present invention comprises a ceramic honeycomb substrate in which a multitude of cells through which a fluid flows are disposed in parallel in a longitudinal direction and are separated by cell walls, each cell being sealed at an end section at either the fluid inlet side or the fluid outlet side, and a filter layer which, among the surfaces of the cell walls, is formed on the surface of the cell walls of those cells in which the end section at the fluid inlet side is open and the end section at the fluid outlet side is sealed, wherein the filter layer is composed of a plurality of spherical ceramic particles, and crosslinking bodies which bind the spherical ceramic particles to each other by crosslinking the spherical ceramic particles, and the spherical ceramic particles and the crosslinking bodies form a three-dimensional network structure.
Adapter assembly for securing a precleaner to an air filtration system
An adapter assembly includes an adapter body extending from an adapter inlet to an adapter outlet, a canister mount for securing the adapter body to an air filter canister, and an adapter joint for securing the adapter body to the canister mount. The canister mount includes a collar that is secured about the air filter canister. The adapter joint allows the adapter body to be moved away from the air filter canister for air filter replacement without having to disconnect the adapter body from the air filter canister. Precleaners are airtightly securable to the adapter body inlet, and the air filter canister is airtightly securable to the adapter body outlet. Air cleaned by the precleaners before reaching the air filter has less contamination to be filtered by the air filter before the air flows into an engine. Precleaning significantly extends the life of air filters.

A cleaner includes: a main body that receives a suction motor; and a filter unit that is detachably coupled to the main body to filter air discharged from the suction motor and includes a ring-shaped filter and a filter frame that receives the ring-shaped filter, wherein the filter frame includes: an inner frame; an outer frame that defines a filter space for receiving the filter in cooperation with the inner frame; and a ring-shaped filter cover that connects the outer frame and the inner frame to each other and has one or more air openings.
