Plant Watering Collar
A plant watering collar for reducing wastage of water includes a panel that has a first end and a second end. The panel is resilient and elongated rectangularly shaped. A first connector is coupled to the panel proximate to the first end. A second connector is coupled to the panel proximate to the second end. The second connector is complementary to the first connector. The second connector is positioned to couple to the first connector such that the panel defines a ring. The panel is configured for positioning around a soil bed housing at least one plant. The first connector is positioned to couple to the second connector such that the ring is formed. A bottom edge of the panel is configured to insert into the soil bed. The ring is configured to retain water directed within a perimeter of the ring.
Irrigation system
In accordance with one aspect, a faucet-supplied irrigation system is provided having a container, coiled tubing in the container, a plurality of pop-up sprinklers in the container, and a plurality of connectors in the container for attachment to the tubing and sprinklers. The irrigation system includes an irrigation controller in the container and a pressure regulator in the container to regulate water pressure of the supply of water to the sprinklers from the faucet. The container is configured to maintain a plurality of the coiled tubing, pop-up sprinklers, connectors, controller and regulator in a predetermined arrangement within the container.
APPARATUSES AND TECHNIQUES FOR SUBTERRANEOUS PLACEMENT OF ONE OR MORE ITEMS
Apparatuses and techniques for subterranean placement or positioning of one or more items are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured to form a hole in the ground and subsequently provide a pathway for positioning one or more items in the hole. In one form, the items that may subterraneously placed or positioned using the apparatus may include agricultural products such as seeds or delivery vehicles that include one or more fertilizers or pesticides or combinations of these materials.

IRRIGATION DEVICE
An irrigation device (10) including a solar collector (18) connected to a heating element (14). The heating element is embedded in a hydrated medium and heats this to produce water vapour. A semi-permeable membrane (34) allows the heated water vapour to be used for irrigation, thereby allowing marsh or sea water to be used to irrigate large tracts of arid soil.
Root Exudate-Activated System for Agrochemical Delivery
A system for delivering fertilizer to the roots of a plant includes coated fertilizer particles. The coating can include a cellulose derivative, optionally a fatty acid, and a component, such as an aptamer, which binds specifically to a material, such as serine, which is released by the roots of the plant when the plant is actively taking up nutrients from the soil. The permeability of the coating increases when the coated particles are exposed to the material released by the roots of the plant. Thus, nutrient release from the coated fertilizer particles is synchronized with uptake of the nutrients by the plant during active growth. Advantages of the system may include one or more of improved nitrogen use efficiency by the plant, improved crop productivity, and/or reduced leaching of fertilizer from the soil.

Watering device incorporating a light source
A Watering device incorporating a light source (5) consisting of at least one inner chamber (2) attached to the exterior surface of the reservoir (1), said inner chamber (2) projecting or extending inwardly, said reservoir (1) having a mouth (3) which is able to be screwed or attached easily to commonly available drip feed devices or watering spikes (4), the inner chamber (2) wall at the exterior surface of the reservoir or extending outwardly from the reservoir exterior surface having a hole to accommodate fully or partially a light source or light sources (5) within the chambers), said light sources providing illumination of the reservoir (1), the plant, and surroundings or part thereof.
COLLAPSIBLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a collapsible support structure and its method of use. The support structure has a vertical support with a water inlet and tip with one or more holes. The vertical support in one arrangement is separable into a first and second portion that is connected by inserting the first portion into a receiving end of the second portion. Connection members connect horizontal supports to the vertical support. The horizontal supports extend perpendicularly outward from the vertical body due their friction fit connection, which allows for their unaided extension. The method of use includes attaching a water source to the water inlet to pressurize water within the vertical support that projects water from the tip. In turn, the vertical support is easily inserted into the ground, where it is left in place until the ground dries to the vertical support providing additional rigidity and support.
IRRIGATION BAG AND BAG ASSEMBLY FOR IRRIGATION OF PRIMARILY FULLY-GROWN, MATURE AND VETERAN TREES AND METHOD OF TREE IRRIGATION
Irrigation bag for irrigation of primarily fully-grown, mature and collection trees, which contains at least one non-pressurized filling opening (3) and/or at least one filling opening (4) with pressure filling fitting, and it also contains in the lower part simple openings (21) for discharging liquid and/or waterproof seams and/or dripper (22) and/or connecting piece (23) with dripping hose connection (24), and the volume of the bag is up to 4000 litres. Irrigation bag assembly, where at least one bag (1) contains at least one non-pressurized filling opening (3) and/or at least one filling opening (4) with pressure filling fitting, and the bags (1) are connected via a connecting hose (51) connected with openings (4) and/or connected with connecting elements (5). Tree irrigation method using bags or bag assembly where the bag (1) or bag assembly (1) is placed as close to the tree canopy dripline (103) at least partly on permeable subsoil (104).
