Surgical Suction Filter
A filter assembly for use with a surgical suction tool for removing fluid and debris from a surgical site includes a conical filter element with a plurality of orifice arrays spaced along the length of the conical body with successively decreasing orifice diameters. The filter element includes an annular flange at the mouth of the filter element that is clamped between a container and a cap. The container includes conically tapered wall to define a radial space between the container and the filter element to permit fluid flow around the filter element and through the container to an outlet tube fitting. A cap covers the mouth of the container with a threaded interface defined between the cap and the container. The threaded interface includes a dual pitch triple lead thread with a coarse lead-in pitch and a fine trailing pitch.
Seatbelt pretensioner shield and heat energy dissipator
A lap belt pretensioner for a lap belt configured to secure an occupant of a vehicle seat includes a pyrotechnic device. The pyrotechnic device is configured to generate a force directed to tension the lap belt around the occupant and emit an exhaust gas including particulates at high pressure and high temperature as a byproduct of the generated force. The lap belt pretensioner also includes a housing configured to retain the pyrotechnic device and defining an exhaust passage configured to expel the exhaust gas from the lap belt pretensioner. The lap belt pretensioner additionally includes a shield arranged over the exhaust passage and configured to collect and/or deflect the emitted particulates and dissipate heat energy thereof. A vehicle having the vehicle seat mounted to the vehicle structure and employing the seatbelt system is also provided.

A power tool includes a power tool housing including a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. A motor is supported by the power tool housing. A tool is configured to be moved relative to the housing by the motor. A fan is configured to be rotated by the motor, such that a fluid flow with debris generated by movement of the tool is drawn into the fluid inlet and through the discharge outlet. A filter is removably attached to the power tool housing. The filter includes a filter media configured to separate the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media includes a collection container configured to store the debris. The filter also includes an opening in the filter media through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position and an open position.
Adsorbed natural gas storing tank
An adsorbed natural gas storing tank is provided. The adsorbed natural gas storing tank includes a tank body that has an upper plate and a lower plate coupled to define an inner space provided with an adsorbent material. The tank body includes an opening that extends through the upper and lower plates. A central plate is inserted in the opening to seal one side of the tank body. Additionally, the central plate has a plurality of discharge apertures formed along a circumferential wall thereof to discharge natural gas reacted with the adsorbent material and has a mounting region therein. A filter assembly is inserted in the mounting region, is fastened to the central plate, filters natural gas passing through the discharge apertures, and is equipped with a control valve for adjusting natural gas discharge.
Particle filter as well as method for the manufacture thereof
A method for manufacturing a filter (1) for gas masks includes providing a flat paper and folding the paper into a pleated preform. The filter element (2) is separated from the pleated preform (6) and is inserted into a housing (3). The inserted filter element (2) is connected to the housing (3) at least at some points. This filter elements (2) may have a polygonal outer contour, upon separating the element from the pleated filter preform (6). A foam and/or an adhesive is applied to an outer edge of the filter element (2), arranged on the circumference of the filter element, for an at least partial sealing of an edge (5). This establishes a connection to the housing (3) in at least some sections.
AIR FILTER DEVICE
The air filter device includes a main member, a conduit member, a sealing piece, a pressurizing piece, a filter element, and a cap. The conduit member, sealing piece, pressurizing piece, and filter element are sequentially stacked in the main member. The conduit member provides a spiral duct with a second inlet and a second outlet. The second inlet is conducted to an outlet opening of the pressurizing piece. The second outlet is conducted to a plug extended from a bottom side of the main member. The cap is fastened to the main member with airflow paths between the cap and main member. The main member may be joined to the inlet terminal of any air compressor. External air is drawn into the air compressor through the filter element, pressuring element, conduit member, and the plug so as to achieve smooth, steady, and quiet air intake.
Apparatus for dispensing bedding inside of breeding cages for use in pharmaceutical preclinical research centres, and method of using said apparatus
Apparatus configured for dispensing bedding inside of breeding cages for use in pharmaceutical preclinical research centres, including: a loading hopper located in the upper part of the apparatus, and adapted to contain the bedding to be supplied to the cages; at least one supporting plane adapted to support one or more cages, and positioned under the hopper; an actuator under the hopper, adapted to raise or lower the hopper and the at least one supporting plane; one or more dosing mouths located in the lower part of the loading hopper, and adapted to feed into the cages given quantities of bedding from the hopper; a dispensation system adapted to dispense bedding into the cages through the one or more dosing mouths; a control system adapted to determine the quantity of bedding and to control the actuator; and a base for supporting the apparatus.
Smoke evacuation system
Smoke evacuation system for removal of aerosolized chemical compounds and biological fine particles produced during laser treatment of tissue. The rapid smoke evacuation is achieved by coupling a low capacity vacuum pump to a vacuum valve and a vacuum reservoir to create very high flow rate for very short durations. The opening time of the valve could at least partially overlap the laser pulse duration.
Smoke Evacuation System
A rapid pulsatile smoke extraction system includes a laser handpiece having a sleeve configurable to be applied to tissue; a vacuum pump and a vacuum reservoir; a conduit connecting the reservoir with the sleeve; and a valve inserted in the conduit. A volume of the vacuum reservoir is at least two times larger than a volume of the sleeve, such that operation of the valve supports instantaneous evacuation of smoke and particulate products from the sleeve into the vacuum reservoir.
PRODUCT GAS FILTER
A product gas filter with a filter housing, into which product gas of a wood gas reactor is supplied, by means of a product gas line, and is discharged as clean gas through a clean gas line. Long-chain hydrocarbons in the product gas stream can be at least substantially reduced, and a high filter performance achieved, where the filter is divided gas-tight into two parts by a separating tray in such a way that the product gas line is delivered to the lower region and the clean gas line exits from the upper collecting space; at least two filter cartridges, each coupled individually to a compressed air line and compressed air source, project into the lower region; and a zeolite container is connected to the lower portion of the filter via a compressed air source connectable, Venturi nozzle and a lockable line.
