Foam producing method, fire extinguishing method, and appliance for foam extinguishing
A foam production method includes mixing liquid nitrogen with a foaming material to produce foam. A gas is produced in situ from liquid nitrogen. As the ratio of the volume of the gas produced by gasification of liquid nitrogen to the volume of the liquid nitrogen is relatively high, when a large gas supply flow is needed to generate a large foam flow, a liquid nitrogen storage device of a small volume can be used instead of bulky air supply devices such as high-pressure gas cylinders, air compressors, air compressor sets and the like, reducing the volume of the air supply device. In addition, the liquid nitrogen used in foaming will release nitrogen gas after the foam blast, such that the nitrogen is also able to inhibit combustion on the surface of burning materials, accelerating the extinguishing of the fire.

The present invention provides a humidifier capable of preventing water generated by dew condensation of vapor from being combined with air, so that an air humidity can be stably controlled. A humidifier 5 according to the present invention includes a storage tank 51 that stores water, the storage tank being opened upward; a heater 52 that heats the water in the storage tank 51; and a guide plate 53 that is disposed above the storage tank 51, on at least one of one side and the other side in a first direction D1 extending along a horizontal direction, with respect to a center of the storage tank 51. The guide plate 53 extends in an inclined manner such that an upper part thereof is positioned closer to the center of the storage tank 51 in the first direction D1, than a lower part thereof.
Pressurized Taylor Vortex reactor
A reaction apparatus includes a hollow chamber with a stirring shaft. The chamber is maintained at a predetermined pressure and accepts at least two reactants from two storage tanks. The stirring shaft rotates around an axis and creates a reaction product. Taylor vortexes are created while the pressure minimizes the volume possession of the gas phase. The reaction product of micron and sub-micron particles is removed from the chamber and depressurized.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING HYDROCRACKED SOFT PITCH
Settling unconverted pitch from a SHC reactor effluent before fractionation improves efficiency of fractionation of slurry hydrocracked products. The recycle of soft pitch to the SHC reactor results in improved reactor operation by avoiding the recycle of lighter products which vaporize in the reactor to occupy reactor space and the recycle of hard pitch which will not convert. The settling step facilitated by mixing with a solvent can achieve a separation between soft pitch and hard pitch not achievable in a fractionation column.

Disclosed herein are stable complexes with controlled particle size, increased apparent solubility and increased dissolution rate comprising as active compound Celecoxib, its salts, or derivatives thereof, which is useful in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain especially in cancer related acute pain, primary dysmenorrhea. More specifically, the complexes possess instantaneous redispersibility, increased apparent solubility and permeability that provide faster onset of action for acute pain relief and lower GI related side effects. Further disclosed are methods of formulating and manufacturing the complexes described herein, pharmaceutical compositions, and uses and methods of treatment.
