Machine and process for providing a pressurized liquid stream with dissolved gas
A machine and process for providing a gas liquid mixture are described. The process can include providing a pressurized fluid stream that includes a mixture of a gas and a liquid; and subjecting the fluid stream to a series of alternating flow regions that include a plurality of laminar flow regions and turbulent flow regions. The machine can include a pressure vessel that includes, above a mid-line, a gas nozzle adapted for the addition of a gas to an interior volume of the pressure vessel and a liquid atomizer adapted for the addition of a liquid to the interior volume of the pressure vessel; below the mid-line, a fluid outlet positioned above a bottom of the pressure vessel and a clean-out port positioned at or adjacent to the bottom of the pressure vessel; and a means for determining a fluid level within the interior volume of the pressure vessel; and a flow path fluidly connected to the fluid outlet, the flow path including a plurality of alternating flow characteristic regions. Further described is the production and storage of the gas liquid mixture.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SETTING PARAMETERS FOR FOAM PRODUCTION
A method sets machine parameters of a foam production machine. The foam production machine includes an intermediate conveyance unit configured to receive a reactive mixture, a plurality of fall plates having vertically adjustable ends and configured to receive the reactive mixture from the intermediate conveyance unit, and a conveyor configured to receive the reactive mixture from the fall plates. The method includes executing software by a computer system, where executing the software includes importing characteristics of the foam production machine and a rise profile for the reactive mixture, and iteratively determining process and machine parameters, including reactive mixture flow rate, conveyor speed, a dimension of the intermediate conveyance unit, and vertical positions for the ends of each fall plate resulting in a predefined predicted profile of the reactive mixture on the plurality of fall plates.
Medicament preparation devices, methods, and systems
A system for mixing a batch of medicament has a pump actuator, control valve actuators, a source of concentrate, and a purified water source, all connected by a fluid circuit. A controller controls various control valves to open fluid channels from the source of concentrate and from the purified water source to connect a junction of the fluid circuit to the concentrate container and the purified water source. The controller also controls the pump actuator and a water pump to flow water and concentrate through the junction into a mixing container, such that the mixture of the concentrate and the water requires additional dilution to form a ready-to-use medicament. The controller samples the mixture and calculate an additional quantity of water to add based on the sampling.
BUBBLE LIQUID GENERATING NOZZLE
The present invention includes: a nozzle main body (1), which includes a tubular body (8) and a closing flat plate (9) that closes one tube end (8A) of the tubular body (8), and in which an inflow space () into which a liquid flows is formed in the tubular body (8); a liquid jetting hole (2) penetrating through the closing flat plate (9) and communicating to the inflow space (); and a liquid guide (23) arranged in the liquid jetting hole (2) from the inflow space (). The liquid guide (23) is mounted in the liquid jetting hole (2) from a conical upper surface (23A) so as to form a liquid flow path () between the uneven surface of the conical side surface (23C) and a conical inner peripheral surface (2a) of the liquid jetting hole (2).

Fluid mixing unit with meandering flow through partitions of a porous body
A fluid mixing unit includes a cylindrical porous body partitioning a container into a first flow space and a second flow space surrounding the first flow space. A first supply port supplies a first fluid to one of the first and second flow spaces. A second supply port provided on one end side of the container in an axial direction of the cylindrical body supplies a second fluid to the other flow space. An outlet for a mixed fluid is provided on the other end side of the container to be open only to the other flow space. Closing members are provided in a plurality of stages along the axial direction to alternately close a right and a left of the other flow space as seen in the axial direction in the other flow space. A meandering flow is formed in the other flow space to create the mixed fluid.
