CONTAINER ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH PLANETARY MIXER
The present disclosure relates to a container assembly for use in a planetary mixer, which may comprise a jar with an inner wall, an adapter in contact with the inner wall of the jar, a metered-dosage dispenser having a tubular body, and a lid attachable to an rim of the jar, wherein the adapter, if included, may be configured to clamp to the metered-dosage dispenser, if included, and the adapter, if included, may be further configured to keep the metered-dosage dispenser away from the inner wall of the jar, wherein at least a portion of the metered-dosage dispenser, if included, may be configured to allow visibility of at least some contents inside the body of the metered-dosage dispenser from outside the body of the metered-dosage dispenser, and wherein the body of the metered-dosage dispenser, if included, may have a height-to-base ratio (HBR) between 0.75 and 1.5 at half volume.
Manufacturing apparatus, mixing machine and/or receiving device for the manufacture of a composition from a mixture of formulations
A mixing machine, configured to receive a receiving device in order to form a mixing machine includes a support defining a receiving housing, able to receive a receiving device, the receiving device being configured to receive first and second capsules containing respectively a first formulation and a second formulation, the two capsules being fluidly linked to each other, an actuation system, movable inside the receiving housing to exert a pressure force on the receiving device and/or on the first and/or the second capsule(s), and a coupling mechanism, movable relative to the support and configured: in an insertion position, not to interfere with the insertion and the withdrawal of the receiving device into/from the receiving housing, and in a coupling position, to exert a force on an actuation face of the receiving device.
COLD BREW COFFEE EXTRACTION DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING SONIC VIBRATION BASED ON SOUND SIGNAL
A cold brew coffee extraction device for adjusting the sonic vibration based on the sound signal includes: a current support extended in one direction and configured to apply an alternating current in a tangential direction of an outer peripheral portion; a magnetic vibrator accommodating one end of the current support therein, and configured to generate a magnetic field in a direction of crossing over the current support to be vibrated in a longitudinal direction of the current support due to a change in a polarity of the alternating current; a plate coupled to the magnetic vibrator to transmit the vibration to a fluid including a particulate matter; and a vibration adjustment circuit configured to, in a first mode, adjust the vibration only based on setting information inputted through a user interface, and in a second mode, to adjust the vibration based on the setting information and an external sound source.
Mixing fluids with weighted aqueous phases
Methods of mixing fluids, especially wellbore fluids, without causing wear to the vessel containing the fluid, are disclosed, using weighted aqueous phase for mixing. Also disclosed are methods of mixing and analyzing fluids using weighted phases including scavengers.
Multi-channel optical measurement instrument
A receptacle having a plurality of interconnected chambers arranged to permit multiple process steps or processes to be performed independently or simultaneously. The receptacles are manufactured to separate liquid from dried reagents and to maintain the stability of the dried reagents. An immiscible liquid, such as an oil, is included to control loading of process materials, facilitate mixing and reconstitution of dried reagents, limit evaporation, control heating of reaction materials, concentrate solid support materials to prevent clogging of fluid connections, provide minimum volumes for fluid transfers, and to prevent process materials from sticking to chamber surfaces. The receptacles can be adapted for use in systems having a processing instrument that includes an actuator system for selectively moving fluid substances between chambers and a detector. The actuator system can be arranged to concentrate an analyte present in a sample. The detector can be used to detect an optical signal emitted by the contents of the receptacle.
MANIFOLD FOR A HYDRAULIC VIBRATION GENERATING DEVICE OR HYDRAULIC MOTOR
A hydraulic vibration generation device or hydraulic motor is provided. The device includes a manifold having an inner volume with a pressure chamber extending into the inner volume, a fluid inlet orifice and a fluid outlet orifice. The device further includes a vibration generating member having a grooved drive and an off-center weight and retaining plates. The inner volume receives the vibration generating member within the inner volume. The vibration generating member rotates and generates vibration in response to hydraulic fluid flowing into the manifold through the inlet orifice and directed through the pressure chamber, relieves pressure upon exiting the pressure chamber and out of the manifold through the outlet orifice. Also provided a hydraulic motor with a same manifold and pressure chamber, but with a power generating member having the same groove drive without and off-center weight. Rotation of the power generating member generates power.
LED mixer using vibratory bowl feeder
A light emitting device mixer includes at least two bowl feeders, each including a bowl capable of holding workpieces, and a driving unit capable of causing vibration to the bowl. The bowl feeders include a moving passage through which the workpieces may move from one bowl feeder to an adjacent bowl feeder.
AUTOMATED CUSTOMIZED COSMETIC DISPENSER
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for the creation and dispensing of a custom formulation within a package at a retail point of sale. In one aspect, the invention includes an automated dispensing apparatus including at least a two-axis robot arm. In another aspect, the invention includes an automated mixer adapted to mix the dispensed custom formulation within the package.
