Multi-Channel Optical Measurement Instrument
A receptacle having a plurality of interconnected chambers arranged to permit multiple process steps or processes to be performed independently or simultaneously. The receptacles are manufactured to separate liquid from dried reagents and to maintain the stability of the dried reagents. An immiscible liquid, such as an oil, is included to control loading of process materials, facilitate mixing and reconstitution of dried reagents, limit evaporation, control heating of reaction materials, concentrate solid support materials to prevent clogging of fluid connections, provide minimum volumes for fluid transfers, and to prevent process materials from sticking to chamber surfaces. The receptacles can be adapted for use in systems having a processing instrument that includes an actuator system for selectively moving fluid substances between chambers and a detector. The actuator system can be arranged to concentrate an analyte present in a sample. The detector can be used to detect an optical signal emitted by the contents of the receptacle.
Electric work machine
An electric work machine allows use of batteries with different sizes with battery covers and allows easy maintenance of a damaged battery cover. A rechargeable concrete vibrator includes a motor, a motor housing accommodating the motor, a battery holder connected to the motor housing to receive a battery in a detachable manner, and a battery cover to cover an overall part of the battery held by the battery holder. The battery cover is attachable to and detachable from the battery holder.
Manufacturing apparatus, mixing machine and/or receiving device for the manufacture of a composition from a mixture of formulations
A mixing method using a manufacturing apparatus having a mixing machine having a support defining a receiving housing including a first and a second receiving locations configured to receive a first and a second deformable capsules, respectively, the first and second capsules configured to be fluidly linked and containing respectively a first and a second formulations and a second formulations, an actuation system configured to transmit a pressure force to the first and second capsules to move the content of the first capsule in the second capsule, and vice versa, the mixing machine includes a heater element configured to heat at least one of the first and second capsules when received in the mixing machine, the method includes: heating and/or kneading alternately or simultaneously, setting in motion of the actuation system and heating by the heater element, and maintaining a withdrawal temperature by the heater element, without motion of the actuation system.
Continuous acoustic chemical microreactor
A continuous acoustic chemical microreactor system is disclosed. The system includes a continuous process vessel (CPV) and an acoustic agitator coupled to the CPV and configured to agitate the CPV along an oscillation axis. The CPV includes a reactant inlet configured to receive one or more reactants into the CPV, an elongated tube coupled at a first end to the reactant inlet and configured to receive the reactants from the reactant inlet, and a product outlet coupled to a second end of the elongated tube and configured to discharge a product of a chemical reaction among the reactants from the CPV. The acoustic agitator is configured to agitate the CPV along the oscillation axis such that the inner surface of the elongated tube accelerates the one or more reactants in alternating upward and downward directions along the oscillation axis.
Adapter for use in a planetary mixer
A dispensing container and adapter system for use with a planetary mixer is disclosed. The dispensing container has a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a nozzle and a removable cap to cover the nozzle. The removable cap may have a first width dimension measured along the transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a body having a second width dimension measured along the transverse axis. An adapter may receive the dispensing container. The adapter may include a cavity to receive the removable cap. The cavity may have a cavity width that exceeds the first width dimension. The adapter may also include a recess for receiving a portion of the dispensing container. The recess may extend from the cavity. At least a portion of the recess may have a width dimension smaller than both the first width dimension and the second width dimension.
