Provided is a method for producing at least one of an unsaturated aldehyde and an unsaturated carboxylic acid from an alkene by an oxidation reaction, in which a n-layered catalyst layer (n≥2) is provided in a gas flow direction in a reaction tube, two or more kinds of catalysts having different activities are used; and the catalysts are packed in such a manner that dT≤20° C. is satisfied, when a difference between a temperature PT.sub.n of an exothermic peak in a n-th layer as counted from a gas inlet and a minimum value mT.sub.n−1 of a temperature of a catalyst layer which appears between an exothermic peak in a (n-1)th layer and an exothermic peak in a n-th layer from the gas inlet is represented as dT (=PT.sub.n−mT.sub.n−1), and the change rate of dT is 2.5 or less at a reaction bath temperature within a range of ±6° C. of a reaction bath temperature at which the highest yield is obtained.

The disclosure relates to a two-dimensional (2D) bismuth nanocomposite, and a preparation method and use thereof, and belongs to the field of nanobiotechnology. The 2D bismuth nanocomposite of the disclosure is an ultra-thin bismuth nanosheet that is loaded with platinum nanoparticles and modified with indocyanine green (ICG) and surface targeting polypeptide Ang-2. The 2D bismuth nanocomposite Bi@Pt/ICG-Ang2 of the disclosure can not only realize the targeted photothermal and photodynamic combination therapy for tumors, but also realize the dual-mode imaging combining CT and fluorescence imaging.

A catalyst for abating a nitrogen oxide includes: a honeycomb substrate including a plurality of cell passages partitioned by a cell barrier rib; and a coating layer positioned on the internal side of the cell passages. The coating layer includes a support including Mg-substituted alumina (MgAl.sub.2O.sub.4), ceria (Ce), and a composite ceria; and Ba and a noble metal catalyst selected from the group consisting of Pt, Pd, Rh and combinations thereof, which are supported on the support. Also provided is a catalyst system for abating a nitrogen oxide includes the coating layer.
Mesoporous composite oxide catalyst, method for preparing the same and method for synthesizing 1,3-butadiene using the same
Disclosed are a mesoporous composite oxide catalyst, a method for preparing the same and a method for synthesizing 1,3-butadidne using the same. The surface area is increased by introducing certain porous silica into preparation of a catalyst for synthesizing 1,3-butadiene, thereby improving a conversion ratio of normal-butene, and selectivity and yield of 1,3-butadiene, and providing economic efficiency from the viewpoint of decreasing an amount of used metal and reducing catalyst production cost.
CATALYST FOR ALKANE OXIDATIVE UU DEHYDROGENATION AND/OR ALKENE OXIDATION
The invention relates to a process for preparing a shaped catalyst for alkane oxidative dehydrogenation and/or alkene oxidation, which comprises: a) preparing a mixed metal oxide catalyst containing molybdenum, vanadium, niobium and optionally tellurium; b) mixing the catalyst obtained in step a), a binder and optionally water, wherein the binder has a surface area greater than 100 m.sup.2/g and a water loss upon heating at a temperature of 485° C. which is greater than 1 wt. %; c) shaping the mixture obtained in step b) to form a shaped catalyst by means of tableting; and d) subjecting the shaped catalyst obtained in step c) to an elevated temperature. Further, the invention relates to a catalyst obtainable by said process and to a process of alkane oxidative dehydrogenation and/or alkene oxidation wherein said catalyst is used.
OXYNITRIDE HYDRIDE, SUPPORTED METAL MATERIAL CONTAINING OXYNITRIDE HYDRIDE, AND CATALYST FOR AMMONIA SYNTHESIS
The invention provides a perovskite-type oxynitride hydride which can be easily synthesized by achieving both improvement in catalytic performance and stabilization when used as a support of a catalyst. The oxynitride hydride is represented by general formula (1a) or (1b).

HIGH POROSITY CERIUM AND ZIRCONIUM CONTAINING OXIDE
This disclosure generally relates to an oxide composition basically composed of cerium and zirconium that has exceptional and stable porosity, surface area and lattice oxygen mobility. The oxide composition can contain one or more other rare earth oxides other than cerium oxide. For example, some compositions can contain one or more of lanthanum oxide, yttrium oxide and neodymium oxide. The oxide composition can be useful as a catalyst, catalyst support, sensor applications and combinations thereof.
HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE
A honeycomb structure includes a honeycomb structure body that includes a porous partition wall which defines a plurality of cells serving as through channels of fluid and extending from an inflow end face as one end face to an outflow end face as the other end face, and a circumferential wall arranged on a circumferential surface of the honeycomb structure body. The circumferential wall has a thickness of 0.5 to 4.0 mm, a gap path is formed along a surface of the circumferential wall inside the circumferential wall, the gap path has a width of 0.4 to 4.0 mm, and has a height of 50 to 99% of the thickness of the circumferential wall, and a total length of the gap path is 1000% or more of a length in the cell extending direction of the honeycomb structure body.
