SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SERVICING A PULVERIZER
A system for servicing a pulverizer includes a pulverizer having a housing, a journal assembly pivotally connected to the housing, a grinding mechanism operatively connected to the journal assembly, and an opening within the housing adjacent to the journal assembly and providing an access point to an interior of the housing, and a hoist apparatus mounted to the housing. The hoist apparatus includes a frame assembly received about the opening in the housing, a sheave assembly including a plurality of sheaves supported by the frame assembly, a motor operatively connected to one of the plurality of sheaves, and a cable received by the sheave assembly. The motor is operable to at least one of retract the cable through the sheave assembly to rotate a component out of the pulverizer through the opening and controllably let out the cable to rotate the component into the pulverizer through the opening.
MILL FOR CRUSHING A BED OF MATERIALS BY COMPRESSION
A mill for crushing a bed of materials by compression includes: a horizontal-axis cylinder the interior wall having a runway track for a crushing roller placed inside the cylinder, a unit rotating the cylinder at a speed that spins the material outward, the crushing roller, a unit for pressing the crushing roller against the runway track of the cylinder, an inlet for supplying material for crushing at one end of the cylinder and an outlet for crushed material at the other end, a unit for controlling the movement of the material so it travels over only a fraction of the length of the cylinder in each revolution and passes between the cylinder and the roller several times before reaching the outlet. The runway track is followed by a downstream lip opposing material flow, downstream of the crushing roller in the direction in which the material travels.

A grinding installation for comminuting material may include a grinding apparatus and a classifying device that is connected to the grinding apparatus and classifies the material. The classifying device may include a static classifier and a dynamic classifier. The static classifier may be disposed so as to at least partially surround the dynamic classifier. The classifying device may comprise a coarse material outlet for discharging coarse material that comprises a coarse grain fraction, a grit outlet for discharging grit that comprises a medium grain fraction, and a finished material outlet for discharging finished material that comprises a fine grain fraction. The grinding installation may further include an open-loop/closed-loop control device for open-loop/closed-loop control of at least a part of a stream of material to the grinding apparatus. The present disclosure also concerns methods for comminuting material.

Personal juice extractor system
A personal juice extractor system is provided including a blending and pressing apparatus where a user places a container charged with food or beverage or any combination thereof in a container chamber. After the start button is pressed, a blending tool attached to a shaft along with a cover are lowered into the container until the cover seals the open top of the container. The blending tool is axially rotated until a desired consistency is achieved. The cover then presses down on the blended contents, forcing liquid to flow out an outlet in the bottom of the container and into an external cup for consumption. The cover, shaft, and blending tool are retracted and then the container is removed from the container chamber and discarded or cleaned for reuse.
Method and device for controlling a rotational speed of a drive
In a method and a corresponding device for controlling a rotational speed of a drive driving a shaft, the rotational speed is controlled by a control device which is supplied with a control deviation calculated based on a desired value and an actual value for the rotational speed. The actual value for the rotational speed of the shaft is measured on the shaft with a first sensor and at least one additional sensor and the actual value is calculated from a weighted average of the individual measured values for the rotational speed obtained from the first and the at least one additional sensor.
Vertical mill roller
In grinding of a raw material by a vertical roller mill, highly-efficient grinding is performed irrespective of the type of the raw material, and the life of the mill roller is extended. In order to achieve these, in a grinding roller used in a vertical roller mill, an outer circumferential surface of the roller as a grinding surface is divided into a main grinding surface that mainly performs pulverizing and a grinding surface other than the main grinding surface. The main grinding surface is made smooth, and the grinding surface other than the main grinding surface is a raw material transfer surface in which slit grooves inclined at 90 degrees or an angle exceeding 45 degrees relative to a roller circumferential direction or screw grooves inclined at 45 degrees or smaller relative to the roller circumferential direction are formed.

In grinding of a raw material by a vertical roller mill, highly-efficient grinding is performed irrespective of the type of the raw material, and the life of the mill roller is extended. A turret includes a generally frusto-conical shaped body and a plurality of static vanes arranged interior to the body and extending inwardly from an interior sidewall of the body.
