The present invention relates to an equipment in the field of hygiene article manufacturing, in particular to a hygiene article recycling unit for disintegrating and separating hygiene articles allowing to separate raw materials at a purity allowing to directly use it in the manufacturing process of the hygiene articles. The recycling unit comprised several devices as sub-units. The present invention further relates to a process for operating such an equipment.

WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
20230311167 · 2023-10-05 ·

The present disclosure relates to a waste management system comprising a first waste bin having a first camera operatively configured to a controller. Images of waste captured by the first camera are analyzed by the controller to ensure that the waste is a plastic waste. Further, a categorization mechanism executing at the controller classifies the plastic waste in at least one of a plastic category using a machine learning mechanism. The system comprises a motor for shredding the plastic waste and a sieve for collecting the shredded plastic waste. Containers attached at an end of the sieve receive and store the shredded plastic waste. The system comprises a second waste bin having a second camera for capturing images of the general/wet waste and categorizing the images to alert user about potential food waste. Categorized wet waste is collected in the second bin.

Cutting Blade Assembly

A cutting blade assembly including a cutting plate, a plurality of cutting slots formed in the cutting plate, and a cutting hub. The cutting plate includes an axial face and a central opening. The plurality of cutting slots are circumferentially spaced about the central opening. Each of the plurality of cutting slots intersects the axial face and defines a respective axial cutting edge at an intersection of each of plurality of cutting slots and the axial face. Each of the plurality of cutting slots defines a base surface that is nonparallel to the axial face. The cutting hub is positioned in the central opening and has a cutting arm adjacent to the axial face.

Composter Device

The present invention relates to a novel composter device. The device is designed to recycle organic waste for easy and convenient disposal. The device comprises a means for grinding organic waste, such as food wastes, yard trimmings, lumber, etc. and a biodegradable bag for collecting the ground organic waste. The device further comprises a button that activates the grinding function and a second button that activates a self-washing function. The device can be sized to handle large or small quantities of waste, depending on the application and setting the device is used in. Accordingly, there may be several versions of the device available to accommodate households, restaurants, schools, farms, ranches, maintenance workers, etc.

Cooled motor for a paper shredder

A paper shredder motor cooling assembly having a paper shredder motor coupled to a fan shaft, an enclosure surrounding the paper shredder motor and having selected input and selected output vents to control airflow to the paper shredder motor, a fan coupled to the fan shaft, communicating with the selected input vents or the selected output vents; when the paper shredder motor is operating, the rotor shaft turns the fan to generate a differential air pressure between the selected input vents and the selected output vents, removing heat from the motor. A duty cycle of greater than 50% is obtained. The fan can be coupled to the motor by speed increasing gearing, attached to the cutter blade assembly, such that the fan turns faster than the motor. The fan also can be attached to the motor shaft. An input fan and an output fan can be used.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A FOOD RECYCLER

A food recycler can include a case having a case volume between 8.79 liters and 35 liters, a control system, a user interface in electrical communication with the control system, and a bucket being configured with a bucket volume, wherein a ratio of the bucket volume to the case volume is between 0.0717 and 0.2857. The recycler can include a motor in communication with the control system, the motor being configured adjacent at least in part to the bucket, a gearbox configured below the bucket and in mechanical communication with the motor, a filter system having at least one filter and configured to receive air from a top portion of the bucket and a drying component configured to remove water from waste food items.

Organic waste management system

A liquification system for an organic waste management system includes a hopper that is oriented vertically such that organic waste added to the hopper is biased by gravity toward a bottom end of the hopper; an agitator that is disposed within the hopper and is movable in a first rotational direction that moves organic waste downward and in a second rotational direction that moves organic waste upward; a motor configured to selectively move the agitator in the first and second rotational directions under control of the controller; and a side grinding and drainage system disposed toward the bottom end of the hopper and preferably on a tapered portion of the hopper for grinding and liquefying organic waste.

INTELLIGENT SENSOR-DRIVEN PROCESSING OF ORGANIC MATTER FOR THE SMART HOME

Embodiments disclosed herein provide an organic matter processing apparatus and method for the use thereof to convert organic matter into a ground and desiccated product. This can be accomplished using a bucket assembly that can grind, paddle, and heat organic matter contained therein. An algorithm is used to control the conversion of organic input to organic output by progressing through processing states based, in part, on time windows, runtimes, and sensor inputs.

Integrated under sink composting system

A composting machine that is positioned within a cabinet under a kitchen sink includes a macerator assembly comprising a plurality of macerator blades for shredding food waste. An extrusion assembly is positioned below the macerator assembly and includes a grinding barrel for receiving the food waste from the macerator assembly and an auger for extruding the food waste through an extrusion plate into a dryer assembly. The dryer assembly includes a compost chamber containing a mixing blade, a fan, and a heating element for generating compost from the food waste.
