<i>Hericium erinaceus </i>strain HE015, molecular markers and uses thereof

The present invention discloses a new Hericium erinaceus strain HE015, and a molecular marker and use thereof. Wild fungi are widely collected throughout China and subjected to systematic strain breeding to obtain a new fine-quality Hericium erinaceus strain HE015. The strain HE015 was preserved in Guangdong Microbial Culture Collection Center on May 12, 2022 with an accession number of GDMCC No: 62464. The genetic background of the strain is obviously different from that of the existing Hericium erinaceus species; therefore, the new strain is of important value and significance in supplementing fine-quality cultivated Hericium erinaceus varieties, meeting the market demand and promoting high-quality development of the industry. The present invention further provides a specific molecular marker and a rapid detection method for detecting and identifying the strain HE015.

Methods and compositions for the production of ectomycorrhizal mycelia and methods of use thereof

The invention relates to methods of cultivating ectomycorrhizal fungi, the method comprising incubating ectomycorrhizal MAT1-1 mycelia, ectomycorrhizal MAT1-2 mycelia, and ectomycorrhizal male mycelia in a culture medium for about 1 day to about 50 days, thereby cultivating ectomycorrhizal fungi to produce an ectomycorrhizal fungal biomass comprising MAT1-1 ectomycorrhizal mycelia, MAT1-2 ectomycorrhizal mycelia, and male ectomycorrhizal mycelia. Also provided are methods of use of the ectomycorrhizal mycelial biomass.

The Flammlina filiformis has a strain number of Jin Jin No. 1 and has been preserved on Jun. 16, 2022 at the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center with a registration number of CGMCC No. 40222. Colors of the cap and the stipe of the Flammlina filiformis Jin Jin No. 1 have obvious differences. Compared with a parent white Flammlina filiformis strain F0012, the Flammlina filiformis Jin Jin No. 1 has an equivalent average yield, an initial harvest period 1-2 days late, and a golden cap.

A new and unique brown variety of the mushroom Agaricus bisporus Imbach was produced by crossing the progeny of brown mushrooms and off-white hybrid mushrooms to bridging cross strains. The resultant hybrid, named RO10425, exhibits distinct and stable characteristics. Hybrid RO10425 exhibits a lighter cap color, thicker cap flesh, and rounder cap, especially when compared to available brown mushroom varieties. RO10425 also exhibits fast mushroom development and high yield.
