FOREIGN MATERIAL REMOVING DEVICE AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH THIS FOREIGN MATERIAL REMOVING DEVICE
A foreign matter removal device (1) is configured to remove foreign matters on a lens (101) of an in-vehicle camera (100) attached to a vehicle so that the lens (101) of the in-vehicle camera (100) is exposed toward an outside of a body panel of the vehicle. The foreign matter removal device includes a single-cylinder type reciprocating pump (5) configured to generate high-pressure air and a nozzle (22) configured to inject the high-pressure air toward the lens (101). A volume of an internal space of the pump is 10 cm.sup.3 or less. Exhaust time (t1) per cycle required for exhausting the air in the internal space is 0.03 seconds or less.
Method of using air and helium in low-pressure tube transportation systems
Implementations are described for maintaining helium/air mixture within a tube in an evacuated tube transportation system. A first implementation includes a set of helium tanks uniformly fitted along the tube length, where helium is injected with controlled valves that open or close to maintain the desired level of helium. An operations control center (OCC) receives helium concentration levels in the tube and instructs a controller in the tube to release helium into the tube when detected levels of helium is lower than the desired level of helium. Another implementation is described where a capsule traversing the tube may have a source of helium gas that can be released into the tube. A hybrid approach is also described where helium can be released from a source within the tube and from another source within the capsule.
Portable fluid tank apparatus for seed carts
A portable fluid tank apparatus for removably mounting on supports for a bulk seed container of a seed cart may include a pedestal configured for resting on the container supports of a seed cart in a seed box support position, a tank housing located on a portion of the pedestal and defining a tank chamber configured to hold a liquid, and an accessory housing located on another portion of the pedestal and defining an accessory compartment configured to hold at least one accessory. The accessory housing may include a base portion mounted on the pedestal and defining an opening for accessing the accessory compartment, and a lid portion mounted on the base portion and being movable with respect to the base portion between a closed position restricting access to the accessory compartment through the opening and an open position permitting access to the accessory compartment through the opening.

TIP FOR SCRAPING WITH FOCUSED HIGH VELOCITY AIR
A scraping tip is attached to a blow gun. The scraping tip includes a neck and a head attached to the neck. The neck is hollow cylindrical and centered about a main longitudinal axis. The head has an internal cavity, a first angled face, a second angled face, a first nozzle, and a second nozzle. The internal cavity is in gaseous communication with an interior of the neck. The first angled face is in a first angled plane, while the second angled face is in a second angled plane. The first nozzle is hollow cylindrical, centered about a first longitudinal axis, merges with the internal cavity, and terminates in the first angled face. The second nozzle is hollow cylindrical, centered about a second longitudinal axis, merges with the internal cavity, and terminates in the second angled face. The scraping tip allows focused high velocity air to aid with scraping.
Specimen holder and charged particle beam device provided with same
The present invention addresses a problem of providing a specimen holder capable of observing phenomena on the surface and in the inner part of a specimen, the phenomena being generated in different gas spaces, and a charged particle beam device provided with the specimen holder. In order to solve this problem, a specimen holder for a charged particle beam device which observes a specimen using a charged particle beam is configured such that the specimen holder includes a first gas injection nozzle capable of injecting a first gas to a first portion of a specimen, a second gas injection nozzle capable of injecting a second gas to a second portion of the specimen, the second portion being different from the first portion, and a partition part provided between the first gas injection nozzle and the second gas injection nozzle.
