Material sprayer

A material sprayer includes a hopper module and a power module. The power module is mountable and dismountable from the hopper module. The hopper module includes a hopper frame and a hopper supported by the hopper frame. The power module includes a drive and a pump connected to and configured to be powered by the drive. The pump interfaces with the hopper with the power module mounted on the hopper frame such that the pump can draw material from the hopper.

INTEGRATED PUMP GUARD AND CONTROL INTERLOCK

A paint sprayer includes an end bell, a motor connected to the end bell, a pump drive connected to the end bell, a pair of protrusions attached to an extending from the end bell such that each protrusion is cantilevered from the end bell, and a pump assembly comprising a pair of mounting holes and containing a piston. The pair of mounting holes is adapted to receive and slide onto the pair of protrusions to mount the pump assembly on the end bell as well as slide off of the pair of protrusions to remove the pump assembly from the end bell. The pump drive is configured to covert rotational motion output by the motor to reciprocal motion. The pump assembly is configured to pump paint when reciprocated by the pump drive while mounted on the end bell.

A fog-generating system (1) is described, comprising: a tank (5) containing fog-generating fluid; a pump (3) connected to the tank (5) to withdraw the fog-generating fluid therefrom; a serpentine (2) connected to the pump (3) to receive the fog-generating fluid pumped by the pump (3), the serpentine (2) being divided into a first section (A) connected to the pump (3) and a second section (B) connected to the first section (A) and designed to emit dry fog (7) as output; a battery (6) connected to the serpentine (2) to pass electric current inside the serpentine (2) and to supply the pump (3); a differential amplifier (11) connected to the second section (B); and a threshold comparator (13) which, upon exceeding a certain voltage, a stop index of the serpentine (2) in the second section (B), breaks the supply to the pump (3).

The disclosed technology includes a hose nozzle assembly with apertures sized to facilitate heating groundwater based on the expected temperature of the groundwater. The hose nozzle assembly can have a handheld enclosure having a handle portion connected to a body portion, a heating chamber having a heating element configured to heat a fluid, and a spray nozzle. The spray nozzle can include a first aperture configured to provide a first spray pattern at a first flow rate corresponding to a first change in temperature of fluid flowing through the heating chamber and a second aperture configured to provide a second spray pattern at a second flow rate corresponding to a second change in temperature of fluid flowing through the heating chamber. The second flow rate can be less than the first flow rate and the second change in temperature can be greater than the first change in temperature.
