A fluid dispenser with a fluid pump for dispensing fluid on movement of an actuator, and an air pump for delivering a stream of air through at least one sound generator on movement of the actuator. The sound generator produces at least two sounds as the actuator is moved from a first position to a second position, with each sound produced in a different time period during a cycle of operation, or differing from the other sound in respect of one or more detectable sound characteristics, such as duration, frequency, temporal alignment, amplitude, and/or timbre. The time period of each sound is a function of the relative location of the actuator between the first and second positions.

The invention provides a skin disinfectant for treating skin with eczema, preventing bacterial proliferation, and removing biofilm. Compositions of the invention include hypochlorous acid, acetic acid, water, and one or more additives or excipients. The formulation process removes metal ions, reduces ionic strength, controls pH, and reduces exposure to air, thus improving stability and lengthening shelf-life.

An apparatus for collecting and dispensing fluid is disclosed. The apparatus comprises of a main barrel comprising a primary reservoir for collecting and storing fluid and a secondary unit comprising of a secondary reservoir for storing and dispensing fluid. The main barrel defines a space for receiving the secondary unit and the secondary unit is configured to be operably docked in the space defined by the main barrel. The secondary unit when docked to the main barrel, the main barrel and the secondary unit are coupled to receive fluid from the primary reservoir of the main barrel into the secondary reservoir of the secondary unit.

A fluid dispenser includes a pump, a motor, a nozzle, a near field sensor, and a controller. The near field sensor is configured to sense a presence of an object within a predetermined distance away from the near field sensor. The controller is configured to determine the presence of the object within the predetermined distance for a first predetermined amount of time. In response to the determination, the controller is configured to activate the pump to push fluid in a first direction. The controller is configured to determine an absence of the object within the predetermined distance of the near field sensor. The controller is configured to reverse operation of the pump for a second predetermined number of rotations to draw the fluid in a second direction that is opposite the first direction in the absence of the object within the predetermined distance of the near field sensor.

An all-plastic emulsion pump, includes a body, threads, pressing head, main column, suction tube, plastic spring, pull rod, stopper, lock cover, first and second one-way valve devices made of plastic material. A communication port is between the plastic spring and the main column. The pull rod is in the plastic spring. The stopper is connected to the pull rod upper end. When the plastic spring is pressed, there is a gap between the pull rod and the side wall of the communication port. When the plastic spring pops up, the stopper blocks the communication port. The first one-way valve device is between the pressing head and the main column to supply the emulsion to the pressing head. The second one-way valve device is between the plastic spring and the inlet of the body to supply the emulsion from the inlet of the body into the plastic spring.

A valve for a dispenser pump is carried on a circular post or tube of a pump body. A protruding, sealing flange is formed at one end, while the opposing end includes tapering ribs extend along the inner surface of the hollow, tubular valve. In function, the ribs facilitate the passage of make-up air between the inner surface and the post/tube.

Various dispensing devices, such as foaming soap pumps, are disclosed. The soap pump can include a fluid storage unit and a fluid handling unit. The fluid storage unit can include a reservoir that is configured to hold a quantity of product, such as liquid soap. The fluid handling unit can include a pumping assembly and dispensing assembly. The soap pump can be configured to withdraw liquid soap from the reservoir, convert the liquid soap to foamed soap, and dispense the foamed soap from the discharge assembly.

An adhesive dispensing system for applying liquid adhesive to a substrate using different nozzles with the same manifold is disclosed. The adhesive dispensing system includes a manifold having a body, a first clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, a second clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, and a nozzle. The first and second clamps secure the nozzle to the body of the manifold. The body of the manifold has a first contact surface that engages the first clamp and a second contact surface that engages the second clamp and the nozzle, where the second contact surface is angularly offset from the first contact surface.

A pump bottle includes a pumping mechanism at a top of the bottle, a neck, a stabilizing vertical sidewall extending from the neck, a collector joined to the stabilizing vertical sidewall, forming an intersection, where the collector is sloped from the intersection, converging to a nadir centered beneath the neck, and the stabilizing vertical sidewall supporting the bottle when in an upright position and forming an open recess underneath the collector.

A handheld comminutor—spray bottle assembly includes a bottle; a comminutor; and a sprayer assembly. The bottle has an externally threaded mouth. The comminutor includes a comminutor body, with an internally threaded rim, housing a power source and an electrically connected motor. Blades connected to the motor by a shaft extend from the comminutor body. The sprayer assembly includes a spray head attached to a spray bottle cap, a siphon straw and an elongated filter housing connected with a spray head inlet, with a filter on the housing. A filter housing cap secures the filter to the housing. The spray bottle cap has an internally threaded rim and a seal ring. The comminutor rim and the spray bottle cap rim alternately connect with the mouth of the bottle. The motor rotates the shaft and the blades. Biomatter and liquid comminuted in the bottle are dispensed using the spray head.
