Paint dispensing method and apparatus
A fluid dispensing apparatus may be used to dispense a paint fluid from a paint container that is under pressure and that has a pierceable membrane. The fluid dispensing apparatus may include a valve body having a bore, an adaptor having a bore and a piercing member, and a nozzle having a bore. The fluid dispensing apparatus may be operable to pierce the pierceable membrane to communicate the paint within the paint container with the adaptor bore and with the valve body bore. The nozzle may be operable to permit the paint to flow under the pressure out of the paint container, through the adaptor bore, through the valve body bore and through the nozzle bore to ambient.
Dispenser for applying liquid, in particular for applying a pharmaceutical liquid, and set comprising such a dispenser
A dispenser for applying liquid, having a housing with an applicator opening and a liquid reservoir. The dispenser has a ventilation duct by which an ambient atmosphere is connected to the liquid reservoir so that, after the application of liquid, an inflow of air from the atmosphere is permitted into the liquid reservoir. The dispenser is provided with a detection installation which for detecting an application procedure detects air flowing in through the ventilation duct. The dispenser has a protective cap covering the applicator opening on the housing. The dispenser in the ventilation duct has a switch valve operable by activating a push-button on the external side of the housing. The protective cap acts on the push-button when placed on the housing or when the protective cap is being placed thereon to open the switch valve.
DRINK CONTAINER WITH SPRAYER AND RELATED METHODS
A drink container and related methods are disclosed hereon. A method of making a drink container includes (a) providing a beverage bottle for holding a beverage for human consumption; (b) forming a threaded mouth in the beverage bottle, the threaded mouth meeting government safety standards for drink containers; (c) providing a removable cap; (d) forming a threaded recess in the removable cap, the threaded recess meeting government safety standards for caps for drink containers, the removable cap further having a sprayer and a dip tube; and (f) threading the removable cap onto the beverage bottle and causing the dip tube to extend into the beverage bottle.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING LIQUIDS IN GLASS CONTAINERS
The present invention is a device and method for dispensing liquids in glass containers. The invention can be used to spray liquids from non-threaded glass containers that do not typically otherwise have a mechanism for spraying. Furthermore, this allows the user of the liquid to use the original container and avoid transferring the liquid from the original container. An adapter is fitted into the neck of an appropriate glass container, such as an olive oil bottle, and a sprayer may be threaded onto the adapter.
Portable enteral feeding apparatus
An enteral feeding apparatus includes a pod having an expansile pouch which defines a reservoir for enteral fluid and a gas impermeable barrier surrounding the pouch. The pod has an inlet port for delivery of enteral fluid into the pouch and an outlet port having a seal which is pierceable to release enteral fluid from the pouch for delivery to a PEG via a feeding line. The expansile pouch provides the sole force by which enteral fluid is delivered from the pouch through a regulator. The system can accommodate a range of enteral fluids with a wide range of viscosities.
Cosmetic container
Disclosed herein is a cosmetic container. The cosmetic container includes an inner cap coupled to a mouth of the container that accommodates contents therein, a pump coupled to the inner cap and inserted into the mouth of the container to discharge a fixed amount of contents, a push button provided in an upper portion of the inner cap, operating the pump by a push operation, and having on a side thereof a nozzle to discharge the contents, and a dip tube coupled at one end thereof to the pump to communicate therewith and inclined at the other end thereof downwards in a direction of a tip of the nozzle, a tip of the dip tube being disposed on an edge of a bottom surface of the container.
Angularly Adjusted Spray Nozzle
According to some illustrative embodiments, an angularly adjustable spray nozzle is employed that includes: a base section having a water flow path extending lengthwise there-through; a head section aligned at an end of the base section and rotatably mounted to the base section; wherein a flow path through the base section is inclined at an angle to a flow path through the head section such that when the head section is rotated a predetermined extent relative to the base section, the spray device is moved between a substantially straight configuration of the head section with respect to the base section and an angular configuration of the head section with respect to the base section; wherein the head section includes a rotatable turret assembly having a plurality of selectable spray type discharge ports and a sleeve to which the rotatable turret assembly is mounted, the rotatable turret assembly including labels on a periphery thereof corresponding to respective ones of the selectable spray type discharge ports, and the sleeve having a plurality of windows through which the labels are viewed when aligned; and wherein the spray device is configured such that when the spray device is oriented in a generally horizontal use position a respective one of the labels corresponding to a selected spray type is displayed within a respective one of the windows that is located at a top side of the sleeve whether the spray device is in the substantially straight configuration or in the angular configuration.
FOAM DISPENSER
The invention refers to a foam dispenser. The foam dispenser is suitable for dispensing foam produced by mixing a foaming liquid and gas, in particular air. Further, the invention refers to foam dispenser assembly, a vessel for storing a foamable aqueous composition and a method for forming foam using the foam dispenser.
WASHABLE, MODULAR PUMP
An easy-to-disassemble pump with a replaceable, ergonomic shroud is contemplated. The pump components snap-fit and allow the user to easy access and clean its interior. Further, the internal components ensure sufficient suction is provided to minimize or avoid entrapment of fluid on exposed portions of the pump.
Retaining Bracket For Applicator Rod, Fluid Spray Application System Including The Same, And Method Of Applying A Fluid To A Target Object
Retaining bracket for a fluid spray delivery apparatus to ensure that an applicator rod remains properly attached to the apparatus and in fluid communication with the fluid even when subjected to a driving force. Also disclosed is a fluid application system or assembly, and a method of applying fluid using the same, the system or assembly including a source of fluid to be applied to a target object, a siphon gun assembly, an applicator rod, tubing for placing the applicator rod in fluid communication with the siphon gun assembly, and a retaining bracket that secures the tubing to the siphon gun assembly such that the tubing remains in place and does not disconnect from the siphon gun assembly when subjected to a driving force such as water under pressure.
