COLOR AND TEXTURE MATCH RATINGS FOR OPTIMAL MATCH SELECTION

A computerized method for displaying matches of a paint sample to various proposed paint coatings includes receiving one or more coating texture variables of a target coating from a coating-measurement instrument. The method also includes displaying, on a digital display device, effect texture ratings for multiple respective proposed coating matches on a digital display device, wherein the effect texture ratings indicate a similarity between the one or more coating texture variables of the target coating and respective coating textures variables of each of the respective proposed coating matches. In addition, the method includes ordering the proposed coating matches, wherein the ordering indicates a strength in similarity between the target coating and each of the proposed coating matches with respect to the effect texture ratings.

In one embodiment, a device for dispensing a substance and a liquid is disclosed. The device includes a container having a top end opposing a bottom end. The top end comprises an opening and the bottom end defines a bottom wall. The container defines a compartment adapted to receive a substance. An upper portion of the container is the adapted to be covered by a cap. The device includes a cap having a mouth for covering an upper portion of the container. The cap also includes a cavity adapted to receive a spray bottle. A spray opening on the cap allows fluid to pass through the cap. The device also includes a spray bottle. The spray bottle is adapted to be received by and held within the cavity of the cap. The spray bottle is refillable and adapted to spray a fluid through a spray hole and through the spray opening on the cap.

PUMP APPARATUS AND SUBSTRATE TREATING APPARATUS

Provided is a pump apparatus, having an upstream pump, a filter, and a downstream pump being inserted into a processing liquid flow path in this order. The downstream pump has an inlet higher in level than an outlet of the upstream pump and higher in level than an outlet of the filter. That is, the downstream pump is disposed higher in level than the upstream pump and the filter. Accordingly, this allows a processing liquid to flow upward. Even when air bubbles are generated in the processing liquid, buoyancy causes the air bubbles to move upward in the processing liquid flow path and collect the air bubbles on a downstream side. Consequently, the air bubbles are readily vented from the processing liquid flow path.

Metered dosing bottle

An apparatus and method for accurately measuring and dispensing a predetermined amount of product from a dispensing system to a given surface area is disclosed. The dispensing system (100) includes a container (102) having a main chamber (106) to hold product and a dosing chamber (108) having an opening (110) in communication with the main chamber (106). The dosing chamber (108) is configured to hold a metered amount of product (112) received from the main chamber (106). A spray head (128) when connected to the container (102) is brought into operable and fluid communication with a dip tube (114), optionally cut to a selected length, which is positioned within the dosing chamber (108) for dispensing by activation of a trigger (136) product (112) to a given surface area or air space.

Spray head with refill valve

A spray head for a spray bottle includes a spray mechanism connected to a tube that extends into the spray bottle. The spray mechanism draws fluid from a bottom of the spray bottle, through the tube, to produce a spray of the fluid. A threaded female fitting attaches to a threaded top of the spray bottle. The threaded female, when screwed on to the threaded top of the spray bottle, securely attaches the spray head to the spray bottle. A refill valve, when opened, provides a conduit to refill the spray bottle so that fluid can be poured into the spray bottle without unscrewing the threaded fitting and removing the spray head from the spray bottle. A refill valve cap, when in a shut position, closes the refill valve to prevent spilling of the liquid when the spray bottle is not being refilled.
