IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming system includes an image forming unit including a first photosensitive member, a first developing unit, a second photosensitive member, a second developing unit, a third photosensitive member, a third developing unit, a fourth photosensitive member, and a fourth developing unit, a varnish applying unit; an irradiation unit; and a controller configured to control image formation by the image forming unit to form a black image, on which the varnish is superimposed, with the yellow toner, the magenta toner, and the cyan toner.
Wood treatment method
Disclosed is a method for treating a grained material. A nonlimiting example of the method includes the operations of providing a workpiece having grains, exasperating a surface of the workpiece to open the grains, applying at least one coat of a base paint to the exasperated surface, applying at least one layer of clear coat on the base paint, applying at least one of a glaze and a paint on the clear coat, and surface treating to reveal grains of the workpiece. Disclosed also are items of furniture and sheet materials treated by the aforementioned process.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system including an image forming apparatus, a varnish applying apparatus, an input unit, a first image processing unit, and a second image processing unit. The image forming apparatus forms a toner image on a recording material on the basis of image data obtained by subjecting first image data to data change processing. The varnish applying apparatus forms a varnish image on the recording material on the basis of image data obtained by subjecting second image data to the data change processing.
Microcrystalline Wax/Pre-Mixture Liquid Sealant Composition, Method of Manufacture and Methods of Use
A method and composition are shown for treating a variety of different substrates with a sealant coating composition which provides a long lasting protective barrier on a selected substrate. First a sealant composition is formulated by combining a micro-crystalline wax with an organic solvent pre-mixture blend. Next, the selected substrate is contacted with the sealant composition and the solvent blend is allowed to flash away, leaving behind a substantially solvent free micro-crystalline wax residue barrier. The solvent blend can be a mixture of hexane and xylene but is not limited to these two particular solvents.

Disclosed also are items of furniture and sheet materials treated by the aforementioned process.
MULTILAYER COATING FILM AND COATED ARTICLE
FF properties of a multilayer coating film configured to exhibit a red color through a lustrous layer (14) and a translucent colored layer (15) are improved to achieve a metallic textured color having a high-quality color tone. The lustrous layer (14) is configured such that Y(10) is 50 or more and 950 or less and that Y(25) is 0.05 or more and 0.35 or less times the Y(10), where Y(10) represents a Y value, of an XYZ color system, of reflected light measured at a light receiving angle of 10 and Y(25) represents a Y value of the reflected light measured at the light receiving angle of 25 in a case where a light incident angle is 45. An inclination of a tangent to the spectrum of the spectral transmittance of the colored layer (15) at the wavelength of 620 nm is 0.012 nm.sup.1 or more and 0.03 nm.sup.1 or less, defined as an absolute value.

COMPONENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COATED COMPONENT FROM A MAGNESIUM MATERIAL
A component (10) for a motor vehicle has a main body (12) produced from a magnesium material. The main body (12) has a visible surface (14) with an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of 1 to 40 m. A clear lacquer coating (40) is disposed on the visible surface (14) of the main body (12) and has a layer thickness of at most 60 m. The clear lacquer coating (40) is applied so that the surface structure (15) of the main body (12) that is disposed below the clear lacquer coating (40) is distinguishable in a visible and haptic manner.
AQUEOUS COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION AND COATED ARTICLE USING SAME, AND MULTILAYER COATING FILM FORMING METHOD
Provided is an aqueous coating composition excelling in washability of a coating machine used for coating. The aqueous coating composition containing an aqueous polyolefin-based resin (A) and an acrylic resin (B) having an anionic group and a polyoxyalkylene group is disclosed, which is used in a coating process including (1) applying an aqueous coating composition onto an object to be coated using a coating machine and (2) washing the coating machine using alkaline washing water having a pH of 9.5 or more.
