The air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is a pipe that satisfies FM4922, FM4910, or another equivalent standard and that is used for exhausting nonflammable chemical gas and corrosive vapor or nonflammable chemical gas, corrosive vapor and smoke in fire. The manufacturing method for the air exhaust or air-and-smoke exhaust pipe is: coating an inner part of a pre-manufactured metal pipe with a liquid coating that can be initially dried at normal temperature or low temperature to obtain an inner coating pipe; and baking the inner coating pipe at a temperature not exceeding 250° C. after the coating is initially dried, thus the coating is completely dried to obtain a finished product.

Nanovoided polymers having shaped voids

An example device includes a nanovoided polymer element, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The nanovoided polymer element may be located at least in part between the first electrode and the second electrode. In some examples, the nanovoided polymer element may include anisotropic voids. In some examples, anisotropic voids may be elongated along one or more directions. In some examples, the anisotropic voids are configured so that a polymer wall thickness between neighboring voids is generally uniform. Example devices may include a spatially addressable electroactive device, such as an actuator or a sensor, and/or may include an optical element. A nanovoided polymer layer may include one or more polymer components, such as an electroactive polymer.

Polyurethane surfacing film

Surfacing films and related processes are provided. These films include a first clear coat layer comprising a first crosslinked polyurethane that is the reaction product of an isocyanate; a polyol selected from the group consisting of: a caprolactone polyol, polycarbonate polyol, a polyester polyol, acrylic polyol, polyether polyol, polyolefin polyol, and mixtures thereof; and a hydroxy-functional silicone poly(meth)acrylate; a second clear coat layer comprising a crosslinked polymer that is essentially free of hydroxy-functional silicone poly(meth)acrylate; a bulk layer comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane; and an adhesive layer. The provided films overcome the problem of migration of solvents and other impurities into the polyurethane bulk layer because the clear coat layer is cured, and solvents removed, prior to the coating of the polyurethane bulk layer. Manufacturing of these films can provide substantially faster line speeds and reduced waste.

ULTRA-FAST UV-CURED MATERIAL FOR REPAIRING SURFACE IMPERFECTIONS

A method of sealing surface imperfections on a sanded surface of a repair to a vehicle body is provided that includes an uncured layer of a formulation being applied to sanded cured body filler on the vehicle body. The formulation includes a polyester resin, a crosslinking agent, a solvent, and a particulate filler. The uncured layer is exposed to actinic radiation to induce cure of the uncured layer to form a sealing coating. The resulting seal coating has able to seal surface imperfections. A surface imperfection sealing formulation is also provided that includes a polyester resin and a multifunctional crosslinking agent. A solvent is provided. A photoinitiator renders the formulation curable upon exposure to ultraviolet light exposure. A particulate filler is also present in an amount to result in a formulation with an uncured viscosity of between 2600 and 3000 centipoises.

A polyurethane-urea coating on at least two of the sides very substantially increases the strength of the wood product and various products made with coated wood.
