METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LATEX RUBBER ARTICLES
A method of manufacturing a latex rubber article comprises providing a former wherein at least a part of the former comprises a mould surface that forms the shape of the latex rubber article, and applying liquid latex to the mould surface using an applicator that is configured to apply the liquid latex to an applicator area that is smaller than the mould surface. The method further comprises providing relative movement between the applicator and the former to produce a latex coating that covers the mould surface, curing the latex coating on the former to form the latex rubber article, and removing the latex rubber article from the former.
SAFETY GLOVE WITH FINGERTIP PROTECTIVE MEMBER
A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
STRETCH LAMINATE
A method to manufacture an elastic laminate is disclosed. Thermoplastic Elastomeric Material (TEM) is selected from a polymer supply and fed into an extruder. The TEM film is extruded by the extruder by passing the TEM polymer through an extrusion die head to form a TEM film layer on a carrier web provided by a carrier supply. The TEM film layer is allowed to solidify on the carrier web, thereby forming a first laminate. The first laminate is stored in a first storage prior to being delivered to a delamination unit, which delaminates the first laminate by separating the TEM layer from the carrier web. The delaminated TEM layer is stretched at least in its Machine Direction (MD) in a stretching station via a plurality of web guide means. The stretched TEM layer is positioned between a first envelope web and optionally a second envelope web prior to being delivered to a bonding unit, which connects them to form a second bonded laminate. The second bonded laminate is unstretched and stored in a second storage for a predetermined time. The stored second bonded laminate is wound under controlled tension to form a roll or spool, thereby forming the elastic laminate.
GASKET
A gasket includes: a metal plate portion having a sealing target hole and a fastening hole; and a coating layer applied to a surface of the metal plate portion. The coating layer includes a rubber layer and a lubricating layer having a lower coefficient of friction than the surface of the metal plate portion. In the coating layer on a part of the surface of the metal plate portion that includes at least a periphery of the sealing target hole, the rubber layer and the lubricating layer are laminated and the lubricating layer is arranged on a surface layer of the coating layer. In the coating layer on a periphery of the fastening hole, the rubber layer is laminated and the rubber layer is arranged on a surface layer of the coating layer.
HYDROGENATED NBR COMPOSITION
A hydrogenated NBR composition comprising 30 to 200 parts by weight of titanium oxide and 1 to 8 parts by weight of magnesium oxide, based on 100 parts by weight of hydrogenated NBR. By forming a crosslinked rubber layer of the rubber composition on a metal plate, a gasket material with excellent blister resistance, whose roll kneadability is improved without reducing the rubber strength of hydrogenated NBR, is provided. Moreover, the rubber composition is effective as a rubber raw material for use in soft metal or a high hardness hydrogenated NBR material for which kneading processing is difficult.

MULTI-PURPOSE ACID-ETCHED METALLIC STAMPS AND DIES
A metallic stamp and die for the craft industry comprises a predetermined acid-etched design on a surface of a metallic plate. A first layer of a metallic paint is applied over the front and back surfaces of the metallic stamp and die. A second layer of a rubber paint is applied over the metallic paint. The metallic paint facilitates bonding of the rubber paint to the metallic plate and increases the life of the coating of the rubber paint. The rubber paint is configured to absorb and store an ink and facilitate transfer of the ink to one or more substrates, thus enabling stamping of the design on the substrate. The metallic die can be configured for a plurality of uses, such as embossing, cutting, heat-foiling, stamping, scoring, and inserting patterns or designs in a plurality of substrates.
Tapered multi-laminated tubular slingshot band
An improved slingshot band having a tapered outer contour. The slingshot band has a tubular body having a first fork end and a second pouch end. The tubular body comprises a first layer of an elastic polymer. The first layer has a constant thickness. The tubular body further comprises a second layer of an elastic polymer. The second layer has a greater thickness near the fork end of the tubular body and lower thickness near the pouch end of the tubular body. The increased thickness of the section of the tubular body near the fork end of the slingshot band reinforces the most vulnerable section of the slingshot band against failure, thereby extending its longevity.

GASKET MANUFACTURING METHOD
A manufacturing method of a gasket that can stabilize the size and shape of the gasket without a mold. The manufacturing method of the gasket includes the steps of discharging liquid rubber onto a base member using a discharge device, and forming a rubber gasket on the base member by curing the discharged liquid rubber. The discharge device includes a valve body which opens and closes a flow channel through which the liquid rubber flows and a discharge port from which droplets of the liquid rubber are intermittently discharged as the valve body opens and closes a valve. The discharge device is a contactless-type discharge device used in a state in which the discharge port is not in contact with the base member.
