STALK ELIMINATOR
The stalk eliminator chops stalks, uproots stalks, and re-chops stalks. The apparatus includes a front stalk chopper on a rotating cylinder with angularly attached blades. A plow tool attaches to the apparatus and provides a subsoiler wing behind and under the front stalk chopper. A rear stalk chopper on a rotating cylinder with angularly attached blades follows the plow tool.
Systems and methods for soil clod detection
In one aspect, a method for determining soil clods within a field includes receiving one or more images depicting an imaged portion of an agricultural field. The method also includes classifying a portion of the plurality of pixels that are associated with soil within the imaged portion of the field as soil pixels with each soil pixel being associated with a respective pixel height. The method also includes generating a first ray from a local maximum in a first direction and a second ray from the local maximum in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first ray until opposing endpoints are determined based on a detected edge condition. Lastly, the method includes determining whether a soil clod based at least in part the first ray or the second ray of the candidate soil clod.
Agricultural row unit for field cultivation
In some implementations, an agricultural row unit assembly can include a pair of tine assemblies each having at least one tine mounted to a hub, said hub adapted to rotate about a first axis, where rotation of said pair of tine assemblies fractures soil and forms a pair of outer edges of a tilled row with a row width. In some embodiments, the device can include a rolling cultivator adapted to form a generally flat profile to said tilled row. In some embodiments, the device can include a seedbed cultivator adapted to work through said soil in the area defined by the row width. In some embodiments, the device can include a pair of gauge wheels fastened to each end of the shaft such that said gauge wheels are located outside said pair of outer edges of a tilled row.
Agricultural implement with a scraper internal to a rolling basket
An agricultural implement having a rolling basket which includes a plurality of elongated members arranged in a substantially cylindrical shape. A stationary internal scraper is disposed in the inner chamber of the rolling basket and is adapted for breaking up a material from the inner chamber as the rolling basket is rotated around the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The internal scraper extends in an upward direction with respect to the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket with the upper edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket and with the lower edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The upper edge of the internal scraper is positioned above the lower edge.

An agricultural implement having a rolling basket which includes a plurality of elongated members arranged in a substantially cylindrical shape. A stationary internal scraper is disposed in the inner chamber of the rolling basket and is adapted for breaking up a material from the inner chamber as the rolling basket is rotated around the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The internal scraper extends in an upward direction with respect to the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket with the upper edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket and with the lower edge of the internal scraper distally spaced away from and above the major axis of rotation of the rolling basket. The upper edge of the internal scraper is positioned above the lower edge.

System and method for determining soil clod parameters of a field using three-dimensional image data
A method for determining soil clod parameters within a field includes receiving, with a computing system, three-dimensional image data depicting an imaged portion of the field. The three-dimensional image data, in turn, includes a first two-dimensional image depicting the imaged portion of the field relative to a first position and a second two-dimensional image depicting the imaged portion of the field relative to a second position, with the first position being spaced apart from the second position. Furthermore, the method includes identifying, with the computing system, a soil clod depicted with the received three-dimensional image data. Additionally, the method includes comparing, with the computing system, the first and second two-dimensional images to identify a shadow surrounding at least a portion of the identified soil clod. Moreover, the method includes determining, with the computing system, a soil clod parameter associated with the identified soil clod based on the identified shadow.

IMPROVED ROW CLEANER AND ROW CLOSER ASSEMBLIES FOR STRIP TILL PLANTERS
A row cleaner connected to a strip till machine and adapted to clear mulch and other debris encountered in strip or low till planting. A row cleaner frame assembly comprising: a pair of row cleaner arms and a pair of clearing wheels configured to have a toe-in alignment; wherein the pair of row cleaner arms share a common plane and are pivotally connected at a pair of pivot points common or close to the rotational axis of a cutting disc; wherein the cutting disc is disposed intermediate the pair of row cleaner arms; and wherein the row cleaner arms are configured to maintain the clearing wheels in a close-proximity to the cutting disc to provide stretch and cut row clearing operation with a biasing actuator for adjustability. An actuator pivotally adjusts the row cleaner assembly relative to the cutting disc. A pivot limiter restricts pivotal travel of the row cleaner to avoid damage to the actuator. A row closing section is provided and includes a lever adapted to adjust toe and/or camber of a closing wheel.
