CLEANING TOOL AND CLEANING METHOD
A cleaning tool includes: a tool main body; an insertion part that moves in a predetermined direction relative to the tool main body, and is configured to hold a head unit movable backward and configured to press a cleaning body against a cleaning target; a retrieve mechanism that retrieves the cleaning body using a relative movement in the predetermined direction between the tool main body and the insertion part; and a rotation mechanism that rotates the head unit after the retrieve mechanism retrieves the cleaning body using the relative movement in the predetermined direction between the tool main body and the insertion part.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING PROTECT VALUABLE, SENSITIVE, OR ELECTRO-MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT DURING CLEANING OR DISINFECTING
A system configured to protect valuable, sensitive, or electro-mechanical equipment during cleaning of the equipment can include a cover having a single opening leading to an interior cavity. The cover can be waterproof. A plate can be permanently attached to the cable of the equipment. An outer periphery of the plate can be approximately the same size as an inner periphery of the opening. The plate can be configured to sealingly fit within the single opening. The system can include a latching mechanism configured to sealingly attach the plate to the cover.

METHOD OF CLEANING AND/OR SANITIZING JEWELRY AND OTHER SMALL PARTS
A method of cleaning and/or sanitizing jewelry and other small parts includes the steps of adding a microwavable fluid into a microwavable container and placing the container into a microwave oven. The microwavable fluid is heated in the microwave oven to a temperature of at least 170° F. The container is removed from the microwave oven when the desired temperature has been reached the jewelry and/or small parts are placed into the container to submerse the jewelry and/or small parts within the heated fluid and agitated, such as by spinning the container to mechanically remove contaminants from the surface of the items being cleaned and chemically cleaned with the use of a fluid that is a cleaning fluid.

Ubiquitous optical cleaning apparatus
A device for cleaning an optical communication device includes a hollow outer stem, an inner stem core, a locking handle, a flexible base, at least one ring seal, and a flexible cover. The inner stem core, fits within a length of the hollow outer stem and is slidable along the length of the hollow outer stem. The locking handle is coupled to a top end of the inner stem core, and is movable between a released position and a locked position, where moving the locking handle to the locked position from the released position slides the inner stem core within the hollow outer stem. The flexible base is coupled to a bottom end of the hollow outer stem, and is transformable between a contracted position when the locking handle is in the released position and an expanded position when the locking handle is in the locked position. The at least one ring seal is coupled to the flexible base. The flexible cover is wrapped around the flexible base and the at least one ring seal.
