REFINER, INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR TREATING COMPOSITE PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a refiner (1) for treating composite products made from thermoplastic material(s), comprising an enclosure (3) with a cylindrical wall, defining a treatment chamber provided with at least one feed opening (5) for products to be treated and at least one outlet opening (5′) for treated products, and a cylindrical drum (6), mounted so as to be able to move in the cylindrical enclosure (3) and having a diameter smaller than that of the latter, the longitudinal axes of symmetry of the outer enclosure (3) and the inner drum (6) respectively being parallel to each other,
the refiner (1) being characterized in that it comprises a means for heating the treatment chamber (4) and in that the drum (6) is mounted in the outer enclosure (3) so that it is able to move in rotation about its longitudinal axis (A2) and so that its longitudinal axis (A2) is able to move along a circular path around the longitudinal axis of said enclosure (3), the two types of possible movements mentioned above being controlled by separate drive and/or actuation means allowing them to be effected selectively or in combination.
Treatment apparatus of a waste product for separating recycling fractions
A substantially vertical separating column of a waste-product treatment apparatus has a cylindrical body with holes in a lateral surface, inferiorly of a waste-product supply opening. A bladed shaft rotates coaxially inside the cylindrical body. A first discharge mouth in an upper part of the cylindrical body expels a first waste-product recycling fraction, the fraction separated and transported upwards by the bladed shaft. A dilution group along the separating column supplies dilution liquid internally of the cylindrical body. A second discharge mouth in the lower part of the cylindrical body evacuates a second recycling fraction. A discharge conduit and a screw extend parallel to a tangent to the cylindrical body, facilitating extraction of the first recycling fraction to the discharge conduit. The bladed shaft comprises a rotor and, in proximity of the upper end, a plate fixed to a lateral rotor surface and arranged radially.
Plastic waste system and method
The present application overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a system for proper life-cycle management of plastic products and the plastic waste that plastic products produce.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR SYNTHESIZING MULTIWALL CARBON NANOTUBES FROM HIGH MOLECULAR POLYMERIC WASTES
This invention relates to a process and an apparatus for synthesizing multiwall carbon nanotubes from high molecular polymeric wastes. The process comprises using induction heating in combination with catalytic chemical vapour deposition (CVD) with an array of catalytic materials to synthesize high value carbon nanotubes with better yield and purity from high molecular polymeric wastes.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC SUBSTANCE
Provided is a method which allows, for example, suppression of foaming in the purification step such as distillation and continuous operation, as well as direct treatment of a waste liquid (can liquid) without having to subject the same to an extra purification treatment by removing the microorganisms, nitrogen compounds, and phosphorous compounds at once from an organic substance-containing liquid obtained from microbial fermentation. Also disclosed is a method for producing an organic substance, comprising a microbial fermentation step, a separation step, a liquefaction step, and a second purification step, wherein the concentration of the nitrogen compound in the second can liquid is 0 to 150 ppm based on the total mass of the second can liquid, and the concentration of the phosphorous compound in the second can liquid is 0 to 5 ppm based on the total mass of the second can liquid.
Methods for cannabis waste disposal
Systems and methods for rendering cannabis-related waste materials are provided. The method may include inserting a plurality of cannabis-related waste materials into, for example, a mobile rendering vehicle. The method may further include physically altering the cannabis-related waste materials such that the cannabis-related waste materials are unrecognizable and unusable. The insertion of the cannabis-related waste materials into the mobile rendering vehicle may be recorded and/or the physical alteration (e.g., pulverization) of the cannabis-related waste materials may be recorded via one or more cameras disposed on the mobile rendering vehicle to verify proper insertion and/or alteration of the cannabis-related waste materials.
AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method of carbon and nitrogen sequestration includes excavating a ditch around a plot of land selected for use in carbon and nitrogen sequestration. Pumping out water filling the ditch from the ground water table. When material in the plot is dry, excavating material from the plot to a desired depth, and thereafter filling the excavated plot with organic material to sequester carbon and nitrogen in the organic material therein.
Method for producing rock wool and recoverable cast iron
The invention relates to a method for producing rock wool and cast iron by melting a mixture of materials such as basalt, blast-furnace slag, coke and components necessary for melting, with an admixture containing alumina, said admixture making it possible to adjust the alumina content in order to obtain a rock wool having the following composition (as wt %): Al2O3: 18-22; SiO2: 40-50; CaO: 10-15; MgO: <10; FeO: <2; Na2O: <4; K2O: <2. The method includes the following operations: producing by melting a slag and a cast iron, separating the slag and the cast iron, and performing a fibring operation on the slag followed by a bonding operation in order to obtain the rock wool. According to the invention, at least one spent adsorbent and/or catalyst is used as an admixture, said catalyst containing alumina in Al2O3 form. Said adsorbent and/or catalyst preferably contains at least one metal, and said metal is retrieved in the cast iron.

Method and system of processing waste fabrics to rejuvenated fibrous materials
The present invention discloses a method and corresponding system of processing waste fabrics to rejuvenated fibrous materials that will maintain their original quality in downstream production without a loss of downstream manufacturing efficiencies. The method involves (a) obtaining fabric data for each bale of incoming waste fabrics and storing the fabric data in a database; (b) obtaining target data relating to target product requirements; (c) processing the fabric data and the target data according to predetermined algorithms to generate a rejuvenation processing recipe which specifies bales information and rejuvenation processes information; (d) selecting corresponding bales of incoming waste fabrics for further rejuvenation processing; and (e) subjecting the selected bales to processes specified by the rejuvenation processing recipe.
