The invention relates to a bending machine (100) configured to bend a metallic workpiece (200), having a controller (130) configured to control a bending operation, wherein the controller (130) has at least one interface (340) configured to obtain information about a time-dependent springback of the workpiece (200) to be bent and to obtain a time indication of a subsequent further machining of the workpiece (200) to be bent, wherein the controller (130) is configured to calculate an adapted bending angle (α) based on the springback and the time indication, and wherein the bending machine (100) is configured to bend the bending operation beyond a bending angle (β) to be bent up to the adapted bending angle (α). Due to the adapted bending angle, the workpiece (300) has the correct bending angle (β) to be bent at the time of subsequent further machining.

The invention relates to a method for producing a component by forming a workpiece (5) from sheet metal with a bending machine (1) having a control device (10) and a manufacturing program (14) for operating the bending machine (1), wherein in a processing area (18) at least two manufacturing steps each with a bending formation are carried out on the workpiece (5), and wherein the processing area (18) is recorded by a camera (16, 17), and images of the processing area (18) are displayed to the operator (20) by a display means (19), and, wherein during the performance of a first manufacturing step, working instructions for a subsequent phase of the current, first manufacturing step or for a subsequent, second manufacturing step are superimposed by an image processing program (15) on the images of the processing area (18) to be displayed by the display means (19) and are displayed by the display means (19).
Rack system and method for positioning a data center rack
A method is provided for positioning a data center rack relative to a rack-supporting frame. The method includes connecting at least one front attachment member to the data center rack on a front side thereof such that part of one of the at least one front attachment member and part of one of the at least one front attachment member extend leftward from a left end and rightward from a right end respectively of the data center rack; lifting and inserting the data center rack between a left and a right vertical support units until the at least one front attachment member abuts the left and right vertical support units; and moving the data center rack leftward or rightward until a hook portion of the at least one front attachment member engages the left or right vertical support unit to set a lateral position of the data center rack.

The method also includes forming a bend in the disk, the bend applying a curvature to at least a portion of the disk, the disk having a second disk diameter after the forming. The method further includes performing a first heat-treating process to the disk. The method also includes performing a second heat-treating process to the disk. The method further includes machining the disk to remove at least a portion of a thickness of the disk.

The present disclosure generally relates to material processing of a two-dimensional sheet like material into a desired three-dimensional shape object. In more detail, this disclosure presents a system, a computer device and an industrial robot for use in material processing of a two-dimensional sheet like material. The system may comprise one or more computer devices and one or more industrial robots in a distributed computing environment. A two-dimensional sheet like material may be provided to the industrial robot. Also, a digital instruction for the spreading and subsequent folding of the provided two-dimensional sheet by means of the industrial robot may be received from a computer device. The industrial robot may execute a thus received digital instruction to produce, or otherwise create, a desired design of a three-dimensional object from the provided two-dimensional sheet like material.

A bending method is a method for bending a workpiece by a bending system including a bending machine equipped with tools including a punch and a die provided so as to be relatively movable, a manipulator configured to position the workpiece with respect to the tools, and a control device configured to control the bending machine and the manipulator to perform bending, the method including resetting, during an automatic operation of the bending of the workpiece by the bending machine, a pushing amount of the punch with respect to the die or an original position of the punch for each predetermined trigger condition.
