The circular arc-shaped cross-sectional profile is provided to the sheet metal (1) in the pre-shaping section (3) by means of roll profiling in a plurality of successive bending steps in a transport direction. The cross-sectional profile is created by step-by-step bending of individual circular arc portions (8) from an outer edge of the sheet metal (1) toward a center line (7) such that the individual circular arc portions (8) directly adjoin one another or at least partially overlap. The disclosure further relates to a device for carrying out the method.
Plate roll bending machine with roll position feedback contained within roll positioning cylinder
A hydraulic roll bending machine includes a frame and a hydraulic cylinder supporting a bending roll such that extension or retraction of the rod changes a height of the bending roll relative to the frame. A hydraulic system includes a valve disposed to provide pressurized hydraulic fluid on at least one side of the hydraulic cylinder, and a controller operates to provide a command signal to a valve channeling hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic system to the cylinder. A sensor is integrated with the hydraulic cylinder, within the bore of the housing, and is disposed to sense a distance of the plunger relative to one end of the housing and provide a signal indicative of the distance to the controller.
METHOD OF ALIGNING A FLAT OR PROFILED METAL SHEET
A method of aligning a flat or profiled metal sheet with preformed notches on the two sides of the metal sheet when the sheet enters into a bender or folding machine directly from a roll forming machine linked or joined to the folder. The metal sheet has to be effectively aligned on the folder before folding to avoid potential damages to the metal sheet of not being properly squared or angled on bending while reducing the times to produce the folded products. Moreover, this method according to the invention allows the metal sheet to feed directly into the folder from the rollformer without having to pass through an intermediary transfer table or aligning device/machine before entering the folder for folding or manual alignment in the folder.

The press brake includes a spring configured to generate torque depending on a height position of the operation panel in an opposite direction to torque generated by weight of the operation panel; and a torque hinge configured to maintain a posture of the parallel link mechanism by absorbing a torque difference between the torque generated by the weight of the operation panel and the torque generated by the spring.

A method of manufacturing printed images on metal with tight bends provides for crack free edges at the tight bends, something previously unattainable in the marketplace. Specifically, prior to bending the metal, the at least coated metal (if not dye sublimated printed) is at an elevated temperature in a range of 90 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, such as in a range of 190-200 degrees. The metal is then bent which has been found to permit self-leveling of the coating throughout the tight bend, as opposed to it being so narrow that cracking occurs.

AUXILIARY BENDING ROBOT CAPABLE OF PROCESSING TWO WORKPIECES SIMULTANEOUSLY
Provided is an auxiliary bending robot capable of processing two workpieces simultaneously, including a linear base slide rail, a slider, a movable major arm, a movable minor arm, a front arm, a swing link, and an additional seventh axis. The slider is slidably connected to the linear base slide rail, and a first axis is formed between the slider and the linear base slide rail. A top portion of the slider is directly or indirectly hinged to a rear end of the movable major arm through a second axis, a front end of the movable major arm is hinged to a rear end of the movable minor arm through a third axis, a front end of the movable minor arm is hinged to a rear end of the front arm through a fourth axis, and a front end of the front arm is rotatably connected to a middle portion of the swing link through a fifth axis. There are two additional seventh axes, the two additional seventh axes are symmetrically disposed on the swing link on two sides of the fifth axis, and each of the additional seventh axes is rotatably connected to the swing link. The present invention can bend two sheet metal plate parts at the same time, so that the efficiency is multiplied and the efficiency problem of automatic bending processing is practically resolved.
Method for producing press-formed product
A production method includes a placement step, a first pressing step, and a second pressing step. In the placement step, a blank plate is placed in press tooling. In the first pressing step, the blank plate is caused to undergo bend forming in such a way that concave ridges, a concave area, and areas of concave-correspondence vertical wall areas that are areas adjacent to the concave ridges are formed in the blank plate. In the second pressing step, the resultant plate is caused to undergo draw forming in such a way that convex ridges, a convex area, areas of convex-correspondence vertical wall areas that are areas adjacent to the convex ridges are formed in the resultant plate.
