Tool and process for forming destacking formations on metal blanks
A tool for manufacturing blanks and a process for stacking and destacking the blanks in a production line are provided. The tool is incorporated into a blanking die used to trim a metal sheet and form the blanks. When the blanks are stacked, the destacking formations provide gaps between the adjacent blanks. The gaps provide an entry to blast air and thus reliably separate the blanks for pick up, so that only one blank is picked up at a time. The tool includes a deforming unit that has an engagement element for pressing deformations into the metal sheet. The deformations are pressed adjacent to at least one edge of the metal sheet so that when the metal sheet is trimmed, and the blanks are stacked, they are spaced by the deformations by adjacently stacked blanks.
Stove, flame port structure disposed in a stove and method of making flame port structure
A flame port structure for burning a gas includes a first continuous spiral strip, a second continuous spiral strip and a first outflow passage. The first continuous spiral strip has a first side edge, a second side edge and a first plurality of annular segments, and the second continuous spiral strip has a third side edge, a fourth side edge and a second plurality of annular segments, wherein each of the first plurality of annular segments and each of the second plurality of annular segments respectively have two first longitudinal opposite surfaces and two second longitudinal opposite surfaces. The first outflow passage has a first defining wall formed on each of the first respective longitudinal surfaces from the first side edge to the second side edge. The first outflow passage is structured so that the gas produces a specific combustion.
HEAT SINK PANEL FOR A PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL
A first aspect provides a heat sink panel for receiving thermal energy from a photovoltaic panel. The heat sink panel comprises a shaped metal sheet, wherein at least part of the metal sheet is shaped into substantially parallel gutters. When attached to the photovoltaic panel, the gutters form channels between the heat sink panel and the photovoltaic panel. The gutters range from a proximal gutter end to a distal gutter end and the distal end and the proximal end comprise openings enabling an air flow through the gutters. Whereas known heat sinks comprise protrusions like parallel oriented fins, they do are not arranged to provide more or less closed channels at the back of the photovoltaic panel to enable a stream of air to flow through the channel. Channels do not have to be fully closed, smaller openings may be provided. An airflow may be provided by a chimney effect.
GAS DISTRIBUTOR PLATE FOR GAS DISTRIBUTION AND FLOW GUIDANCE IN ELECTROLYSERS AND FUEL CELLS
The invention relates to a gas distributor plate (2) for gas distribution and flow guidance at least in electrolysers or fuel cells, comprising a structure arranged on a contact surface of the gas distributor plate (2), for gas distribution and flow guidance, the structure for gas distribution and flow guidance being formed as a deformable structure (10).
A PUNCHING TOOL COMPRISING A PUNCH AND A DIE
A punching tool comprising a punch (42) and a die (46), in particular for manufacturing a creasing plate (24), the die having a straight recess (50) for accommodating material deformed by the punch (42), characterized in that the die (46) has an outer contour which extends, adjacent the open end of the recess (50), at an angle of less than 90 with respect to the longitudinal direction of the recess (50).
Aircraft heat exchanger finned plate manufacture
A method for forming a heat exchanger plate includes providing a precursor having a body with a first face and a second face opposite the first face and at least one internal passageway; and pluralities of first and second fin precursors respectively protruding from the first and second faces. First and second fin height profiles are formed by removing material from the respective fin precursors via wire electro-discharge machining.

Flexible conductive track arrangement and manufacturing method
A flexible conductive track arrangement has a pre-flexing condition in which the arrangement is generally planar. Conductive tracks are formed from a metal layer and they are covered above and below by insulator layers. The elongate conductive tracks are generally planar but locally corrugated perpendicularly to the general plane. This enables improved binding performance, for example to form tight windings using the conductive tracks.

Method of manufacturing washer and washer
A method of manufacturing a washer capable of improving a material yield is provided. The method includes: a preparation step of preparing a longitudinal member which includes an upper corrugated portion and a lower corrugated portion including crest portions formed on at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface and valley portions continuous to the crest portions in the right-left direction; and a deformation step of deforming the longitudinal member such that the upper surface and the lower surface are arcuate as viewed in the direction from the front to the rear.
