An edge finishing for a mesh formed by interlacing adjacent wire pickets, each picket formed in a zig-zag manner, the edge finishing comprising two interlinked loops where a first loop is formed from a first picket of the adjacent pickets and a second loop is formed from a second picket of the adjacent pickets, wherein the first loop and the second loop are interlocked together, via first and second loop-ends, at an intersection of the first picket and the second picket.

An enhanced ground stake provides a ground stake for restraining a dog or other animal that improves ability to relocate and find an unattended stake in wooded or grassy areas after returning from a walk or hunt, alerts others to the location of an unattended stake in the ground and potential tripping hazard, and provides an indication of whether a dog is still attached to the stake.
Active electrostatic wildlife guard for electrical power distribution equipment
Provided is an apparatus for wildlife deterrence on a high voltage conductor. The apparatus includes an electrical insulator including an electrically insulating material without a conductive material. The electrical insulator includes a first surface, a second surface that is opposite the first surface, a first edge that is between the first surface and the second surface, an intersection between the first edge and the first and second surfaces defining outer edges of the first and second surfaces, respectively, and a second edge that is opposite the first edge and that is between the first surface and the second surface, an intersection between the second edge and the first and second surfaces defining interior edges of the first and second surfaces, respectively. The apparatus further includes an electrical conductor that is arranged on the first surface of the electrical insulator and is spaced apart from the second edge.
Vehicular restraint device for animals
An animal restraint device restrains an animal relative to a vehicle seat having two lower anchors laterally spaced apart at a rear bottom of the seat and an auxiliary anchor separate from the lower anchors. The harness includes a chest panel and a plurality of straps for securement about the torso of the animal. Two lower tethers are securable between the harness and the two lower anchors of the vehicle. An upper retractable tether can be secured between a separate upper connector on the harness and the vehicle. In one embodiment, a retractable tether assembly is coupled between the harness and an anchor on the vehicle typically used for anchoring the upper tether of a vehicle child restraint seat. In another embodiment, an adapter allows the seatbelt of the vehicle to be used as the upper retractable tether.
Fence standard
A fence standard is provided and includes a shaft and a wire support including an open ended loop. The wire support is molded onto the shaft.
AN ELECTRIC STRAND GATE
An electric strand gate has at least one electric strand thereacross. The gate comprises an actuator which moves the electric strand up along a hoisting rail from a closed position to an open position, thereby providing clearance thereunderneath for passage of livestock, vehicles and or the like through the gate. The gate may have shuttles travelling along the hoisting rail, each of which is connected to a respective electric strand. The rail and shuttles may be configured so that electric strands are closer together when in the open position, thereby maximising clearance thereunderneath whilst moving apart in the closed position, so as to maintain the full height of the electric fence. The shuttles and the rail may be further configured so that the electric strands are electrically disconnected in the open position.
PORTABLE CORRAL POWER FOLD
The instant invention provides systems and methods for powered folding and unfolding of panels for a portable corral. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes interconnected fence panels, a motor, a drive wheel, hydraulic and/or electrical lines, controls, and a power unit. Generally, the motors and drive wheels are connected to the folded panels and are utilized to unfold said panels to deploy the corral without the need for the operator to physically move the panels. Also included is a lift system for lifting the corral up for transport and lowering the corral to the ground for deployment.
Wireless animal training, monitoring and remote control system
An animal training and/or monitoring system and an animal-worn device that is capable of receiving and sending various inputs and outputs, respectively, from/to a wireless mobile device. The wireless mobile device has a software application that allows a human user to wirelessly communicate with the animal-worn transceiver via direct, networked or cellular wireless protocols. The animal-worn device interacts with the applications on the wireless mobile device to allow for a variety of functions, such as the transfer of commands or stimuli to the animal, the transfer of data regarding the animal or its environment to the wireless mobile device, and/or the transfer of instructions from the animal-worn device to an external device. The wireless mobile device may also transmit new firmware to the animal-worn device to modify its inputs and outputs.
Electric Fence Connection System
An electric fence connection system includes a body formed with a slot have a predetermined depth. The slot may be formed to receive a polymer coated cable such that at least a portion of the polymer coated cable is surround by the body. The body may be formed to also include a first threaded aperture that extends through the body to the slot. A first threaded fastener may be sized to threadably engage the first threaded aperture. The first threaded fastener may include a head at a proximate end, a conical tip at a distal end and threads along a shaft of the fastener between the distal and the proximate end. The conical tip of the first threaded fastener may be formed to pierce the polymer coated cable positioned in the slot. The body may be formed with a second aperture formed to receive a power supply cable to supply electrical power to the polymer coated cable via the first threaded fastener.
