Tool Magazines of Mechanical Arrangements and Methods for Administering Tools
A tool magazine for tools of a machine tool for processing workpieces includes a first magazine unit that is close to a processing station of the machine tool and a second magazine unit that is remote from the processing station of the machine tool. The second magazine unit includes a permanent tool carrier and a temporary tool carrier. The permanent tool carrier is permanently accessible to a tool handling device. The temporary tool carrier is temporarily accessible to the tool handling device.
Spring deflection control assembly
A spring assembly is provided which decreases the fatigue and wear on the springs of the assembly. The spring assembly includes upper and lower pistons separated by a substantially incompressible fluid. The lower piston is attached to one or more springs. The surface area of the upper surface of the lower piston is greater than the surface area of the lower surface of the upper piston. As such, the springs are deflected by a distance less than the distance traveled by the upper piston. By decreasing the length the springs are compressed, the springs are subject to less fatigue and wear. As a result, the life span of the springs is increased and the maintenance required of the spring assembly is minimized relative to that of typical spring assemblies.
Automatic cleaner and pressing device
An automatic cleaner for a pressing device has a pressing unit that can reciprocate between a pressing position and an apart position. The automatic cleaner includes a separating structure configured to separate a workpiece from the pressing unit; a cleaning member; and a drive mechanism configured to move the separating structure and the cleaning member back and forth, in accordance with movement of the pressing unit. The drive mechanism is configured to make the separating structure drop the workpiece, after being worked, from the pressing unit, and to make the cleaning member clean the pressing unit, in accordance with the movement of the pressing unit.
FINE BLANKING PRESS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
The disclosure pertains to a fine blanking press comprising a first press unit comprising a first press drive for driving the first press unit in a first driving movement during a fine blanking process step, and a second press unit wherein the second press unit is driven in a second driving movement at least partially during the first driving movement of the first press unit, and wherein a force control unit exerts a counter force against a force exerted by the first press unit during its first driving movement, and wherein the force control unit comprises at least one sensor and a controller operative to receive measuring data collected by the at least one sensor, and wherein the controller is configured to carry out a closed loop control on basis of the received measuring data. The disclosure further pertains to a method for operating a fine blanking press.
Washer and method of manufacturing washers
A washer that includes: an inner peripheral face formed in an arc shape; an outer peripheral face formed in an arc shape concentric with the inner peripheral face on a radially outer side of the inner peripheral face; and outer peripheral cut-out portions (such as a left outer peripheral cut-out portion and a right outer peripheral cut-out portion) formed at positions of the outer peripheral face corresponding to end portions (a first end portion and a second end portion) of the inner peripheral face to have the same shapes as outside shapes of the corresponding end portions of the inner peripheral face.
Eavestrough outlet cutter
An outlet cutter for cutting an outlet opening in an eavestrough has a frame including a trough opening therein arranged to receive the eavestrough therethrough. A female die including a die opening is supported on the frame directly below the trough opening so as to be arranged to be located directly below an eavestrough received through the trough opening. A male die is supported on the frame so as to be movable relative to a female die between a disengaged position spaced above the female die and a punching position fully received within the die opening in the female die using a screw. The frame is self-supported on the eavestrough for sliding. The male die has four corner portions, each formed by two side cutting edges which are sloped downwardly and outwardly towards a respective apex, with two opposed apexes protruding beyond a remainder of the die.

Method for machining outer circumference of metal end cross-section and method for joining metal component obtained by the machining method with another member
Provided are a method for machining the outer circumference of a metal end cross-section, the method being capable of easily forming at least any of a deep groove, a deep recess, and a flange which are smooth and uniform in the longitudinal direction of a metal rod or metal pipe in the periphery of the cross-section of any of the end part of the metal rod or metal pipe, the drawn end part of the metal rod or metal pipe, and the hub hole forming part of the metal pipe; and a method for joining a metal component obtained by the machining method with another member. The machining method of the present invention is characterized in that: splitting is advanced by successively repeating press forming operation multiple times by using a slitting punch, in which a tip part has a sharp cutting edge, and the cutting edge is formed so as to have a shape equal to or partly equal to the outer shape of the cross section of a metal end part and so as to have a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the cross section of the splitting object; and in order to control the depth of metal cracking cleft created with each press forming operation, a pressing die for pinching the outside of a metal rod or at least a pressing die of one side of pressing dies for pinching the inside and the outside of a metal pipe is disposed while its position is moved according to the distance of a split portion.
