FEEDING DEVICE FOR LIVESTOCK TRANSPORT TRAILERS
20230133591 · 2023-05-04 ·

A feeding device for preventing displacement of feed during livestock feeding inside a livestock trailer is described. The device includes a wall bracket configured for connection of the device to an interior surface of the trailer and a net frame having a net connected thereto. The net frame is connected to the wall bracket and pivotable from an elevated open position permitting the feed to be placed on a substantially flat manger surface of the trailer to a substantially horizontal closed position where the net covers the feed on the manger surface and permits the livestock feeding to occur through the net while the net prevents the displacement of the feed.

An animal feeder and method of use is described herein. The animal feeder is configured to distract, calm, or occupy an animal for an extended period of time. The animal feeder includes an elastomeric body having an obverse side and a reverse side. The obverse side includes a feeding section having a plurality of nubs. The plurality of nubs are configured to slow an animal's ability to lick food therefrom. On the reverse side is one or more suction cups to suction the animal feeder to a surface to secure the feeder system in a single location. The animal feeder further includes a guard extending laterally from the feeding section to keep the surface below the guard free from saliva, drool, or slobber from the animal.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE ANIMAL HEALTH SENSING AND ANALYSIS
20230240261 · 2023-08-03 ·

An orientation indicator device that includes a band having an interior side, an exterior side, and a length to wrap around a neck of an animal. The orientation indicator device includes at least one fiducial marker attached to the band that is visible from the exterior side of the band to denote an orientation of the animal. The orientation indicator device includes a tag coupled to the band to hang by gravity from under the neck. The band is in the form of a collar with fasteners to fasten the collar around the neck. A system is also disclosed that includes a walk-in analysis zone. The orientation indicator device and a computer vision system, in the walk-in analysis zone, identify an orientation of an animal in the zone by capturing the orientation indicator device and dimensions of a body of the animal.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE ANIMAL HEALTH SENSING AND ANALYSIS
20230240258 · 2023-08-03 ·

A system that includes a persuasion delivery device to deliver a persuasion to an animal to persuade the animal into a walk-in analysis zone for conducting an examination session. The system includes a set of sensors to sense in real-time at least one biological parameter to create real-time biological data. Each sensor has a sample collector in the walk-in analysis zone to capture a respective biological parameter. The system includes at least one processor to analyze the real-time biological data and at least one of: recommending animal feed nutrients based on the analyzed real-time biological data; identifying the at least one biological parameter on a user interface; and causing a feed making machine to make animal feed based on the recommended animal feed nutrients.

Adjustable pet treat launching device

A pet treat launching device includes: a launcher assembly and cover assembly. The launcher assembly includes: a housing, trigger, first spring, treat launch member, and second spring. The trigger moves in a housing track between first and second positions, being biased towards the first trigger position by the first spring. The treat launch member is coupled to the housing to slide between a launch position and a release position, and is biased by the second spring towards an open end of the housing, i.e., towards the launch position. The cover assembly, which includes a treat storage member that slidably receives a stacked plurality of pet treats, is configured to slidably couple to the launcher assembly at each of a plurality of different housing coupling positions, to accommodate launch of a corresponding plurality of different treat thicknesses. The trigger selectively engages and disengages with the second spring to accomplish treat launching.

METHOD OF FEEDING A GROUP OF ANIMALS AT A FEEDING LOCATION AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

A method of feeding a group of animals at a feeding location includes automatically determining an expected feed demand for the group of animals to be fed using a computer; automatically harvesting feed crop in a crop field using an autonomous, unmanned device; automatically loading the harvested feed crop into a storage space provided on the autonomous, unmanned device; automatically transporting the feed crop from the crop field to the feeding location by means of the autonomous, unmanned device; and automatically dosing harvested feed from the storage space of the autonomous; unmanned device to the animals at the feeding location. A completely automated method for determining a feed demand and then harvesting, transporting and dosing the harvested feed to the animals is thus realized. A system for performing the method of feeding a group of animals at a feeding location is also disclosed.

Pet feeding device

A pet feeding device includes an accommodating body, a cover, a pivoting assembly and a counterweight. The accommodating body has an accommodating space. The cover is pivotally connected to the accommodating body and to close or open the accommodating space. The pivoting assembly is connected to the accommodating body and the cover and for pivotally connecting the cover on the accommodating body. The counterweight is separately connected to the accommodating body and includes a swinging end and a positioning end. The swinging end has a curved surface and is disposed on one end of the counterweight. The positioning end is disposed on the other end of the counterweight. When the swinging end of the counterweight contacts a ground, the pet feeding device is in a rolling state, and when the positioning end of the counterweight contacts the ground, the pet feeding device is in a positioning state.
