Feeding apparatus for supplying feed to a trough and a method of monitoring the functioning of such a feeding apparatus
A feeding apparatus is provided for supplying feed to a trough. The feeding apparatus includes a plurality of feed dispensers having respective outlets. The feeding apparatus further includes a slide, the slide being positioned below the outlets to receive feed falling from the outlets and guide the feed towards the trough. The slide includes a plurality of impact detectors located below the respective outlets to detect impact of feed on the slide.
TIME RELEASE APPLICATION AND MONITORING SYSTEM
Provided herein are mechanisms and methods for the automated distribution of active ingredients (whether oral or contact based) to wild and domestic animal populations as well as a method for monitoring animal activity and estimating consumption and/or application of such ingredients within the population through the utilization of the mechanisms themselves. The inventive device pertains to a manner of delivering either an active oral ingredient or active contact ingredient within a bait pellet or like substrate for ingestion or external contact and/or coating of a target population. The device allows for controlled access of such a bait pellet (or like substrate) for such a target population coupled with the ability to retain freshness thereof for multiple timed access events without the need for human involvement. A properly sized, configured, and automated delivery device is thus provided to meet these needs. Delivery components are also encompassed herein.
Treat dispenser with multi-position recess
A treat dispenser includes a body having an exterior surface and a recess in the body. The recess has an outlet and is defined by interior surface having first and second lips protruding into the recess. The first lip defines a first treat-holding position having a first depth relative to the outlet, and the second lip defines a second treat-holding position having a greater second depth relative to the outlet.

Animal feed dispenser
An animal feed dispenser, in particular for horses, comprising a downwardly open, substantially vertically oriented tube with at least one filling opening for animal feed that is arranged in the upper portion of the tube. At least two elastic cables which project through in the interior transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube are arranged above one another, wherein a clearance remains above each cable and in each case allows only the reception of an individual portion unit of the animal feed, and wherein each cable is connected to an end of an associated pulling element which is guided outwardly substantially normal to the respective elastic cable via an opening in the tube wall, wherein a biting element is fastened to the end of the pulling element that is situated outside the tube.
Systems and Methods for Labeling, Identifying, and Tracking Data Related to Consumable Product
Systems and methods for labeling, identifying, and tracking data related to consumable substance include encoded information related to the substance itself, its container, and/or an animal (e.g., human, feline, canine, livestock) intended to receive the substance in vivo.

PET SNACK MACHINE
A pet snack machine, including an outer shell and a sealing cover, wherein the sealing cover comprises a cover, a knob, a connector and an elastic element, one end of the connector is abutted against the knob, and the other end thereof passes through the cover and is provided with an abutting part, the inner side of the outer shell is provided with a grid blocking part, the abutting part is capable of being abutted against the lower side of the grid blocking part, the elastic element is provided in the cover, and both ends of the elastic element are abutted against the cover and the connector respectively, so that the knob is rotated, and the connector is movable in the direction close to the knob under the action of the elastic element to separate the abutting part from the grid blocking part.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRELOADING A PLURALITY OF FEED TYPES OF A FEED MIX FOR LIVESTOCK AND METHOD FOR PREPARING FEED MIXES
Preloading a plurality of feed types of a feed mix for livestock in a mixing plant. Feed types are conveyed towards a mixer. Bunkers selectively discharge one of the feed types on a loading conveyor. A controller controls a preloading weight of the feed types to be discharged onto the loading conveyor. Feed types are individually discharge onto dump spots of the loading conveyor at the bunkers and terminate when a predetermined total weight is reached or interrupt when a maximum preloading capacity is reached or feed reaches the end of the loading conveyor. Feed types may be individually discharged from the bunkers onto the dump spots and the main component loaded into the mixer by a loading vehicle, such that the weight of the main portion and the weight of the supplemental portion add up to a programmed total weight of the main component.
System, method and apparatus for filling a feed mixer
A system for filling a feed mixer, the system comprising: a feed intake device configured to take in a feedstock from a stockpile; a feed processing system for processing the feedstock and directing the processed feedstock into a container of the feed mixer; and a controller associated with the feed processing system, the controller configured to control processing of the feedstock by the feed processing system based on a prescribed recipe.
