SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING RING PULL BOTTLE CROWNS
Equipment and related methods for manufacturing ring pull crowns are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a ring pull crown may include forming a plurality of crown bodies from a first source material, and forming a plurality of pull ring and tab assemblies from a second source material. In addition, such a method may include forming a plurality of ring pull crowns by combining each crown body of the plurality of crown bodies with a corresponding pull ring and tab assembly from the plurality of pull ring and tab assemblies. Also, such method may also include forming a circumferential skirt that descends below a top of each ring pull crown, and removing the plurality of ring pull crowns from the first source material.
Manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus for universal joint
A method of manufacturing a universal joint includes: temporarily assembling a bearing, which supports a shaft portion of a joint spider such that the shaft portion is rotatable, with respect to a through-hole and the shaft portion by press-fitting the bearing to a first position in the through-hole of a yoke; and clinching, after the bearing is temporarily assembled, a portion of the yoke around the through-hole, and pressing the bearing deeper into the through-hole with a clinched portion formed by the clinching to press-fit the bearing to a second position located deeper than the first position in the through-hole.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METAL PARTS WITH SPLIT ENDS JOINED
A method for manufacturing metal parts with split ends joined. An end of a metal plate or solid metal rod is split. The length of the incision is adjusted and a smooth split face is formed. A metal plate is secured by pinching both sides with a clamping device, or a solid metal rod is pinched on opposite portions on the periphery with a clamping device. The plate/rod is split longitudinally by slitting or cleaving the plate/rod by pressing a slitting or cleaving punch against the face of one end of the plate/rod. The splitting is advanced by repeating the operation of pressing the punch against the cleft of the splitting. In each splitting operation, the position of the clamping device is moved in advance of the next pressing by a stroke corresponding to the distance from one end of the plate/rod, to the distal end of a split-desired portion.

High security fastener with buckled shroud retainer
An improved fastener comprising a fastener body having a tool-engaging portion, a threaded fastening portion and a shroud-receiving body portion; a shroud concentrically mounted on the shroud-receiving body portion and having an inner surface facing an outer surface of the shroud-receiving body portion; the inner surface of the shroud comprising an annular groove and the shroud-receiving body portion comprising a substantially arch-shaped axially-buckled radially-extending annular protrusion extending outwardly transverse to the central axis and disposed in the annular groove of the shroud; and the annular protrusion and annular groove of the shroud forming a shroud-retaining element restraining the shroud from movement in at least a first axial direction along the central axis such that the shroud will rotate relative to the fastener body under an applied external torque prior to the fastener body rotating when the fastener is engaged with an external structure at a design installation torque.
GAS GENERATOR, PLUG FOR GAS GENERATOR, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLUG FOR GAS GENERATOR
A gas generator includes an elongated cylindrical housing main body and a plug which closes an axial end portion of the housing main body. The plug made of a metal includes a substantially columnar body portion, a first flange portion located on a side of a first end surface, and a second flange portion located on a side of a second end surface. An annular groove portion defined by the body portion, the first flange portion, and the second flange portion is located in a circumferential surface of the plug. A metal flow in a portion which appears in a surface layer of the circumferential surface of the plug including a surface of the annular groove portion continuously extends to reach the second end surface from the first end surface along the circumferential surface without discontinuity in the circumferential surface.
Methods of constructing pet nail clippers
A method of constructing a pet nail clipper is provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving a disposable receptacle filled with a styptic substance. After receiving the receptacle, a sidewall of the disposable receptacle is coupled to an inside edge of an opening in a bracket extending from the pet nail clipper. In preferred embodiments, the receptacle is comprised of a cup and a lid and the lid is made with a rubber or silicone and has an entrance into an interior of the receptacle.
Fluid pressure device and method for manufacturing same
A fluid pressure cylinder. A first stepped section having a greater diameter than a cylinder chamber is formed at one end of a cylinder tube constituting a fluid pressure cylinder. A disc-shaped head cover is inserted into the cylinder chamber. The one end is pressed and plastically deformed by a staking jig to form a deformed section, and the head cover is affixed within the first stepped section by the deformed section. As a result of this configuration, the head cover can be more firmly affixed while the sealing effect between the cylinder tube and the head cover is ensured. This eliminates need for a seal means and an engagement means which is used to affix the head cover, and consequently, the number of parts can be reduced.
