An upper lid secures to an upper edge of the rigid inner scaffold such as with mating threads to form a closure such that the portable pet canteen is watertight. Water may be retained within the bladder until such time as the upper lid is removed and the canteen placed on the ground for the pet to drink from within the inner scaffold which provides a relatively wide opening. The canteen may be placed within a flexible outer cover for protection, which can also have various handles or straps for ease of transportation.

An automatic pet water feeder includes a water replenishing assembly including a bucket body, a bucket cover on a mouth of the bucket body, a silicone plug in the bucket cover, and a movable pin configured to telescopically drive the silicone plug to block and dredge the mouth of the bucket body; and a filter assembly including a shell and a filter element in the shell. One end of the bucket cover is inserted into the shell. The filter element is configured to filter water flowing from the bucket body. The pet water feeder may filter drinking water multiple times through the filter element so that water may be effectively purified. The bucket body may be automatically blocked by gravity through the telescopic movable pin, so that water may not be spilled when being changed.

A method and system for use therein for providing O.sub.2 and H.sub.2 gases directly to the soil proximal to the roots of plants, to harvested produce of plants, and to animals drinking supply via electrolysis is described. The method employs at least one electrolyzer disposed adjacent to, or inline with, the irrigation waterline of the plant grow operation or to the water supply waterline of the animals to facilitate the introduction of the gases to the soil or animals. A power source is used to provide the electrolytic conversion, and gases remain in a micro-bubbled form to flow through the waterline more easily to the plants where they are needed the most. A venturi may be used to channel the dissolved gases in the waterline from the electrolyzer in embodiments having an external unit. The preferred inline embodiment electrolyzes the water without need of a venturi to reintroduce the gases to the waterline.
