Bending Machine, In Particular A Press Brake, With A Safety System
The invention relates to a bending machine, in particular a press brake, having an upper beam and a lower beam. The upper beam is movable in a working direction of the bending machine in order to form a workpiece by bending along a bending line, which extends in a width direction of the bending machine. The bending machine includes a safety system having a first functional element and a further functional element for monitoring a safety area between both functional elements and between the upper beam and the lower beam. The safety system is arranged to follow the movement of the upper beam in the working direction. The first functional element and the further functional element are mechanically connected to one another via a flexible tractive force transmission means and an adjustment device for changing the position of the functional elements. The adjustment device includes a coupling section.

DOUBLE BLANK DETECTING DEVICE FOR PRESS MACHINE AND DIE PROTECTING DEVICE FOR PRESS MACHINE
The double blank detecting device for a press machine uses a press machine with a die cushion device attached thereto, and automatically and repeatedly forms blank materials one by one. The double blank detecting device includes: a position signal acquiring unit that acquires a die cushion position signal indicating a position of a cushion pad of the die cushion device; a load signal acquiring unit that acquires a die cushion load signal indicating a die cushion load generated in the cushion pad of the die cushion device; and a double blank detecting unit that detects, as a double blank, a state where a plurality of the blank materials are overlapped, based on the die cushion position signal and the die cushion load signal that are acquired.
Emergency stop configuration for ironworker
One aspect is a hydraulic ironworker system having a hydraulic ironworker configured with hydraulic power to deliver controlled force to metal workpieces. An accessory tool is coupled to the hydraulic ironworker via a harness assembly and configured to receive the hydraulic power from the hydraulic ironworker. A remote pushbutton assembly is selectively coupled to the harness assembly and configured to control hydraulic power from the hydraulic ironworker to the accessory tool and further configured with an emergency stop button that, when actuated, disables all power to the hydraulic ironworker system. A safety plug assembly is configured to alternately couple to the harness assembly in place of the remote pushbutton assembly. Power to the hydraulic ironworker system is disabled until one of the remote pushbutton and safety plug assemblies are attached on the harness assembly.

SAFETY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A MACHINE
A machine has a first machine part and a second machine part. The first machine part carries out a working movement towards the second machine part in order to machine a workpiece. The first machine part has a leading edge, which defines a movement plane in the course of the working movement. For safeguarding the machine, a plurality of images including spatially resolved representations of the edge, at least a part of the workpiece, and a protective region defined between the edge and the second machine part are acquired. A motion speed of the first machine part relative to the second machine part is determined on the basis of the plurality of images. The motion speed is compared to a reference speed value or speed profile, defining a nominal speed of the first machine part relative to the second machine part during the working movement and an acceptable tolerance interval. The working movement is stopped if the motion speed deviates from the reference speed beyond the tolerance interval.
PRESSING TOOL WITH SAFETY ELEMENT
A pressing tool for plastically deforming a workpiece is described. The pressing tool includes a housing and an electric motor for actuating the pressing tool. The pressing tool also includes an instrument seat which is adapted to receive an interchangeable instrument head at the housing. The pressing tool also includes a mechanical safety element which is arranged in a manner that is movable from an open position, in which an instrument head may be inserted into the instrument seat, into a closed position, in which the instrument head is locked in the instrument seat. The pressing tool additionally includes a mechanical actuating element which may interact with the safety element in order to be able to cause the pressing tool to be enabled for a pressing process.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING OBSTRUCTIONS IN A CONDUIT OF A STAMPING ENVIRONMENT
A method includes obtaining stamping system data from a stamping system data controller and vibration data from one or more vibration sensors disposed at the conduit; selecting a baseline vibration threshold and a frequency filter from among a plurality of frequency filters based on the stamping system data; generating a plurality of measured vibration values based on the vibration data and the frequency filter, where each measured vibration value from among the plurality of measured vibration values is associated with a given iteration from among a plurality of iterations of a stamping process; determining whether the conduit is in an obstructed state based on a comparison between a set of measured vibration values from among the plurality of measured vibration values and the baseline vibration threshold; and performing a corrective action in response to the conduit being in the obstructed state.
SHEET MATERIAL BENDING SYSTEM
A sheet material bending system includes a tool changing apparatus that changes tools between a press brake and a tool stocker. The tool stocker is arranged behind the press brake. To change tools from the front and rear of the tool stocker, the front and rear of the tool stocker are opened. The tool changing apparatus has a pivot that is movable in front-rear, left-right, and up-down directions and is rotatable around an axis extending in the up-down direction. A front end of the pivot is provided with tool holding units to hold tools.
