METHOD FOR CENTER TWISTING WIRES
A method of twisting a pair of wires includes the steps of arranging a first wire parallel to a second wire along a longitudinal axis, securing ends of the first and second wires, and gripping outer surfaces of central portions of the first and second wires. Inner surfaces of the central portions of the first and second wires are in contact with one another. The method further includes the step of rotating the central portions of the central portions of the first and second wires, thereby twisting the first and second wires about one another.

The device includes mutually spaced single rotating units for separately holding cable ends at one end of the single cables; a twisting unit for holding and twisting cable ends at the other end; and a guiding apparatus, to which is fastened a guiding mandrel for separating the single cables, at least in some regions, during a twisting process by the twisting unit, in a transition region from an untwisted region to a twisted region. The guiding apparatus further includes: a movement element for moving the guiding mandrel out of an initial position into a moved-in position, in which the guiding mandrel is moved into the twisting axis; and a locking element for holding the guiding mandrel in the position moved in out of the twisting axis.

A reinforcing bar binding machine (1A) includes a magazine (2A) in which a wire (W) is housed, a curl guide unit (5A) that winds the wire (W) around a reinforcing bar (S), a wire feeding unit (3A) that feeds the wire (W), and a binding unit (7A) that twists crossing portions between one end and the other end of the wire (W) wound around the reinforcing bar (S). The wire feeding unit (3A) is configured such that a second displacement member (36) for displacing a second feed gear (30R) is located behind a second feed gear (30L) and provided between the second feed gear (30L) and a handle portion (11A).

A wire stranding apparatus, comprising: a core wire moving mechanism configured to move a core wire in an axial direction; a spool configured to feed a wound wire by rotation; a revolving mechanism configured to revolve the spool about the core wire; a rotation driving mechanism configured to feed the wire by rotating the spool, the wire fed from the spool being spirally wound on an outer periphery of the core wire moving in the axial direction by revolution of the spool; and a control device including a wire speed obtaining unit configured to obtain a speed of the wire to be wound on the core wire and a rotation driving mechanism control unit configured to control the rotation driving mechanism such that the speed of the wire obtained by the wire speed obtaining unit has a predetermined value.
