A system for manufacturing a string of pocketed coil springs comprising: a coil-forming subsystem that produces two coil springs; a spring transporter subsystem that receives the two coil springs at a first position and conveys the two coil springs to a second position; a spring compressor subsystem that compresses the two coil springs; a fabric-folding subsystem that receives a piece of fabric and folds the fabric to create an open side; a spring inserter subsystem that receives the two compressed coil springs and inserts the two compressed coil springs between top and bottom surfaces of a folded piece of fabric; two welder subsystems that form first and second welds between top and bottom surfaces of the folded piece of fabric, the first welds and the second welds forming a plurality of pockets in the fabric, each of the plurality of pockets comprising a compressed coil spring.

Rebar cage assembly apparatus
A method and apparatus for rebar cage construction is disclosed. A computerized controller operates an apparatus that automates parts of the rebar cage formation process. The computer controls motors for rotating the barrel and operating a wagon containing spiral coil wire. Initial rods are placed on a plurality of latitudinal conveyors. Dual cage ring assemblies are placed on the latitudinal conveyors, and notches or slots within the cage rings engage with the initial rods. The conveyors rotate the dual cage ring assemblies and a rod dispenser places a rod in additional notches. The rods, when completely installed, form a barrel structure. A wagon containing spiral coil wire is then moved longitudinally while the conveyors rotate to wrap the spiral coil wire around the barrel, to form a spiraled rebar cage.

WIRE HANDLING DEVICE
A wire handling device for a manufacturing device includes an elongate first wire guiding device having a first guiding section for a wire to be guided along the first guide section, and an elongate second wire guiding device having a second guiding section for a wire to be guided along the second guide section. The wire handling device includes a support device, and the first wire guiding device and the second wire guiding device are placed on the support device. The support device is rotatably mounted about the rotational axis, and the first wire guiding device and the second wire guiding device are mounted so that they can be moved with respect to each other.

A wire handling device for a manufacturing device includes an elongate first wire guiding device having a first guiding section for a wire to be guided along the first guide section, and an elongate second wire guiding device having a second guiding section for a wire to be guided along the second guide section. SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HANDLING SLENDER BODIES IN A MACHINING AND VERIFICATION PLANT
A method and a system for handling slender bodies in a semi-finished production plant includes a cutting station separating slender bodies from a continuous wire, a finishing station of the head ends of the slender bodies, a dimensional verification station downstream of the finishing station, and transporting equipment transporting the slender bodies between stations. At or upstream of the cutting station a marking unit applies a reference marking on the slender bodies, which working identifies an original attitude including angular position. The transporting equipment includes gripping and locking assembly, locking at least the angular position of the reference mark to a relative reference system of the transport equipment. Upstream of the finishing station is a detecting and storing unit for data of the angular position to the relative reference system. A unit determines the original attitude of the slender bodies using the data in the dimensional verification station.
Apparatus and method for handling metal products
A handling apparatus including a support plane configured to support a plurality of metal products with an oblong development, and handling devices configured to pick up a metal product from a pick-up zone of the support plane and to deliver it to a delivery zone. Movement devices are associated with the support plane configured to distribute the metal products on the support plane and to move them toward the pick-up zone. The handling devices comprise a plurality of transfer arms provided with magnetic holding elements in order to magnetically hold one of the metal products.
