Binding machine
A binding machine includes a first guide having an introduction part into which the wire to be fed by the wire feeding unit is to be introduced, and configured to curl the wire introduced from the introduction part, a second guide configured to guide the wire delivered from the first guide toward the binding unit, a main body part having one end portion at which the first guide and the second guide are provided, and, an entry regulation part provided in the main body part, provided at one side of the introduction part of the first guide at a downstream side of the binding unit with respect to a feeding direction of the wire to be fed toward the first guide by the wire feeding unit, and configured to prevent the wire from entering into one side of the introduction part of the first guide.
WIRE SHAPING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SHAPING A WIRE
Apparatus for forming wire components, which are in this example springs, comprises a supply station (202), for supplying spring forming material, such as metallic wire W. The supply station includes a pair of guide rollers (204) and pair of driven feed rollers (206), mounted on a heavy support plate (216). The wire is fed through a flexible sheath FS to a remotely located wire shaping device, in particular a spring forming device 208, comprising forming tools (210), a pitch control tool (212) and a cutter (214). The forming tools (210) and the pitch control tool (212) form the wire into a spring S, which is cut from the supply of wire when it is complete. The tools (210, 212) and cutter (214) are controlled remotely from a control station (220) via a bundle of flexible control cables (222), which may include a power cable. The spring forming device 208 is mounted on a positioning member (224), such as a robot arm or moveable table, configured for three-dimensional movement, and/or optionally adjustments in inclination. Without the heavy plate (216) and rollers (205, 206), the spring forming device (208) is sufficiently light in weight and compact as to be moved by the positioning member (224) to a location in which springs are to be used, thereby avoiding the need for transportation apparatus to convey the springs from the place where they are formed to the place where they are to be used.
Wire handling device
A wire handling device for a manufacturing device includes an elongate first wire guiding device having a first guiding section for a wire to be guided along the first guide section, and an elongate second wire guiding device having a second guiding section for a wire to be guided along the second guide section. The wire handling device includes a support device, and the first wire guiding device and the second wire guiding device are placed on the support device. The support device is rotatably mounted about the rotational axis, and the first wire guiding device and the second wire guiding device are mounted so that they can be moved with respect to each other.

LOADING ASSEMBLY FOR OBLONG, IN PARTICULAR METALLIC, ELEMENTS
The loading assembly for oblong elements, in particular metal elements, includes a movable selector member and a chute associated with the selector member. The loading assembly is associated with a transfer seat to collect a number of elements loaded on the chute by means of the selector member.
Surgical rod bending system and method
System and method for automatically bending a surgical rod are provided. The system includes a linear movement device configured to axially feed the surgical rod, a rotational movement device configured to rotate the surgical rod as it is axially fed, and a bending device including a roller to impose bending forces against the rod. The rod is free from contact with the bending device after it is axially fed past the roller.
PRODUCTION SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING A WIRE MATERIAL WOUND TO FORM A WIRE REEL, COMPRISING A CONVEYING MEANS WITH PERMANENT MAGNETS
A production system for processing a wire material wound to form a wire reel, in particular reinforcing steel. The production system comprises a receiving device for receiving the wire reel; an unreeling device for removing the wire material on the wire reel; and a processing device for processing the removed wire material. The unreeling device comprises a conveyor surrounding a first deflection roller and a second deflection roller, wherein permanent magnets are arranged on the conveyor and an increased frictional connection can be established between a surface of the wire material and an outer surface of the conveying means by means of the permanent magnets.
