METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING A SPRING, A SPRING BRAKE, AND A SPRING BRAKE COMPRISING A SPRING
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a spring for a spring brake, including a shaping and cutting step f) including the following sub-steps: f1) shaping a raw wire into a coil with a plurality of raw turns, the raw wire having: raw portions that extend from the end of the raw wire over at least one raw turn, and an intermediate portion between the raw portions, f2) separating the first raw portion and the second raw portion of the raw wire by cutting, after implementing sub-step f1), and f3) shaping a first tab (5), at a first end of the intermediate portion, after sub-step f1), and f4) shaping a second tab (7), at a second end of the intermediate portion opposite the first end, after sub-step f1).
Canted coil springs and assemblies and related methods
Canted coil spring rings each with a first plurality of coils having first coil major and minor axes; a second plurality of coils each having second coil major and minor axes; the coils of the first plurality of coils alternating with the coils of the second plurality of coils according to an alternating pattern. The spring rings having inner and outer perimeters and wherein the inner perimeter of the spring ring is defined by at least said first plurality of coils. The resulting configuration of the spring ring has improved spacing along the inner perimeter, among others, with respect to a similar canted coil spring ring having a constant coil cross section, such as a coil length with all similar coils.

Servo-rotating all-function tool module for use with spring forming machine
A servo-rotating all-function tool module is provided for use with a spring forming machine and includes an axle rotating tool module and a servo transmission module assembly. The axle rotating tool module is rotatably mounted, in combination with an axle of the rotary axle assembly of the spring forming machine, to a front wall board and includes an oscillating base and a tool. The oscillating base is rotatably mounted to the rotary axle assembly. The tool is mounted to an end of the oscillating base. The servo transmission module assembly is mounted to the spring forming machine and includes a servo moving ring circumferentially surrounding the oscillating base for driving the oscillating base to oscillate in all directions to thereby cause the tool to press down or lift upward.

SPRING MANUFACTURING MACHINE WITH SELECTABLE CONFIGURATION FOR PROCESSING TOOLS
The present invention provides a spring manufacturing machine including a wire guide member configured to guide a wire along a conveying direction to a first base point or a second base point for forming a spring, and a pair of movable assemblies configured to allow the second base point to be located between the first base point and the pair of movable assemblies. Each of the movable assemblies comprises a mounting platform configured to move close to or away from the first base point or the second base point along the conveying direction. Each mounting platform has a recess, and two mounting platforms are adjacent to each other to allow their respective recesses to surround the second base point, so that the movement of the mounting platforms do not to interfere with operation at the second base point.
Coiling machine and manufacturing method of coil spring
A coiling machine includes a material guide, first pin, second pin, pitch tool, cutting tool, heating device, temperature sensor, and controller. A material is bent between the first pin and the second pin to form an arc part between the first pin and the second pin. The controller select control data corresponding to the temperature of the material from a plurality of control data corresponding to a processing temperature. Then, the positions of the first pin and the second pin are controlled such that a radius of curvature of the arc part increases when the temperature of the material increases, and the position of the cutting tool is controlled such that a gap between the center of curvature of the arc part and the cutting tool increases.
