IMPROVED ANIMAL TAG APPLICATOR
An animal tag applicator comprising: a fixed jaw member and a movable jaw member comprising oppositely arranged tag engaging surfaces for engaging an animal tag therebetween; a handle extending downwardly from the fixed jaw member; a supporting portion extending outwardly from the fixed jaw member to support the movable jaw member; and a lever comprising a first lever portion linked to the movable jaw and a second lever portion adapted for movement relative to the handle wherein the lever is movably linked to said handle such that a movement of the second portion of the lever towards the handle results in movement of the first portion of the lever and simultaneously effects a substantially linear movement of the linked moveable jaw towards the fixed jaw.
System, client terminal, control method for system, and storage medium
An estimation apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire data about a domesticated animal identified by identification information that is transmitted by a client terminal, and an estimation unit configured to perform estimation by inputting the acquired data about a domesticated animal to a trained model generated by performing machine learning based on captured image data of domesticated animals and collected data about domesticated animals and provide, to the client terminal, an estimation result indicating a result of the estimation, and the client terminal includes a presenting unit configured to transmit a request for estimation together with identification information for identifying a domesticated animal targeted for estimation, receive the estimation result, and present body weight data about the domesticated animal targeted for estimation to a user.
Animal sensory stimulation with fur differential impedance detection
A collar-mounted location sensor and stimulation unit includes a body. A generally planar stimulation unit and differential impedance-based fur detector in combination protect the animal from harmful stimulation. At least one sensory stimulator is configured to provide at least one of auditory, kinesthetic, and visual stimulation responsive to an output of a location sensor. One or more of a voltage, current, oscillation frequency, extent of modulation, or other output characteristic of the stimulation unit output is varied responsive to the detected fur differential impedance to protect and benefit both the body and mind of the animal.
Method and System for Connecting An Animal Cage Monitoring System to An Animal Cage Rack
A method and system for removably connecting the animal cage monitoring system to an animal rack. The monitoring system can include a data collection platform. Data from an RFID chipped animal within a cage can be wirelessly transmitted to the data collection platform. An individual chipped animal is associated with the data collection platform. The data collection platform and associated cage being removably received in a data collection rack. One or more removably mountable data collection processors can be attached to the data collection rack.
Management apparatus, individual management system, and individual search system
To provide a management apparatus capable of capturing a position of a specific individual satisfying a predetermined condition. A management apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a control unit. The control unit extracts, on the basis of first information that is generated by a sensor device worn by an individual and is related to a living body of the individual, a specific individual satisfying a predetermined condition, and generates, on the basis of position information related to a position of the specific individual, search information for causing a mobile object to move to the position of the specific individual.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR THE MONITORING OF LIVESTOCK AND THE LIKE
An electronic ear tag [1] for use in the monitoring or management of livestock has a mass of 32 grams or less. The tag has a polycarbonate housing [3] made with front and rear portions [9] and [11] which are ultrasonically welded together, and has a short neck [7] and a prong [15] for attachment to the ear of an animal. A PCB [40] in the housing includes a microprocessor, a GNSS module and a LoRa transceiver and antenna. A gateway [103] for communication with the ear tag {1] and with the telephone network is also disclosed, as is an animal monitoring and/or management system which uses the ear tag [1] and the gateway [103].
Animal information management system and animal information management method
An animal information management system includes an identification information obtaining unit which obtains identification information of an animal included in a first image, based on the first image captured by an imaging device during patrol imaging of a predetermined region in a first zoom setting in which only part of the predetermined region is an imaging target, the animal being included in animals present in the predetermined region; and a control unit which causes the imaging device to capture a second image including the animal in a second zoom setting having a zooming magnification lower than that of the first zoom setting when the identification information is obtained.
Electronic ear tag for animal husbandry
An electronic ear tag allows an individual to track a herd animal. Further, the electronic ear tag is an ultra-low power, and lightweight tag that runs only when needed. The electronic ear tag includes a substrate, a microcontroller, a rechargeable battery, a wireless communication module, a global positioning system (GPS) module, and a solar panel. The substrate is a circuit board used to support the electronic components of the present invention. The microcontroller is used to manage and control the electronic components of the electronic ear tag. The rechargeable battery is the main power source of the electronic ear tag. The wireless communication module allows the electronic ear tag to communicate with a central network. The GPS module allows the electronic ear tag to communicate with a GPS satellite. The solar panel converts solar energy into electrical energy used to charge the rechargeable battery.
SMART LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT GATE
Smart livestock management method and system based on Internet of things. The smart livestock management system may include a gate. The gate may include a frame forming a moving path of an animal, an external device disposed in the frame and configured to radiate electromagnetic waves toward the moving path and to receive identification information and bio information of the animal from an implant device inserted into the body of the animal passing through the moving path, and a camera configured to obtain image data of the animal passing through the moving path.
LIVESTOCK MONITORING SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
Implantable devices, methods, and systems for using the implanted devices to monitor cattle are described herein.
