Compact pet washing station
A compact self-service pet wash is provided. The compact self-service pet wash includes an equipment room, and a foldable wash tub. The equipment room has a depth that defines the storage depth of the pet wash. The equipment room provides the means to control and supply the wash tub with rinse water, wash solution mix and dry air to wash a pet in the wash tub.
GROOMING TOOLS
A brush is provided that is configured for removing debris and hairs, and includes at least one body having a pad, a plurality of bristles having a bending configuration extending from the pad, one end of each first bristle being connected to the pad.
COATINGS FOR DAG PREVENTION
Techniques are disclosed for preventing formation of dags on cattle and other commercially produced animals. The surface of the animal, such as the skin, hide, hair, wool or other covering of the animal, is treated with a low-energy, non-sticking hydrophobic coating. The coating may be made from long-chain hydrocarbons, such as stearates, typically with a terminal metal carboxylate group comprising a variety of low-valence metals, e.g., mono or divalent metals, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and zinc. The coating makes it difficult for polar substances, such as water, mud, dirt, waste, soil, manure and feed, collectively termed dag, to adhere to the surface of the animal.
Turkey Spur Sheath Removal Tool and Method
A turkey spur sheath removal tool includes a first pivoting member, a second pivoting member, and a hinge connecting the first and second pivoting members. Each pivoting member includes a handle, a cutting blade, and a gripping region. The turkey spur sheath removal tool is useful for severing and removing the spur sheath from a turkey leg for cleaning or trophy purposes.
Restraint Assembly For An Animal
A restraint assembly for an animal having a front anchor member, a rear anchor member and a coupling assembly. The front anchor member is configured to be secured to an animal through an interaction with at least one of a neck, a first front leg, and second front leg thereof. The rear anchor member is configured to be secured to an animal through interaction with at least one of a tail, a first rear leg, and a second rear leg thereof. The coupling assembly coupling the front anchor member to the rear anchor member in releasable engagement, to limit articulation of a body of the animal, sufficient to substantially preclude a head of the animal to rotate and reach portions of behind the head with a mouth of the animal.
No-bite animal guard
An animal guard comprising a sleeve with a guard section, intermediate section, and neck section, the guard section comprising a deformable mesh with a pair of snaps and the neck section comprising preferably cloth material terminating in a hem containing a drawstring to tighten the neck section around an animal's head, with the guard section overlapping the neck section in the intermediate section of the animal guard. The animal guard is designed to prevent bites from the animal while keeping the animal comfortable. The animal is able to be fed and watered while in the animal guard.
Animal Protective Recovery Collar and Neck Piece
A protective recovery cone collar for the head of an animal having a protective cone body with a first and a second opening, the first opening having a smaller size than the second opening. The protective recovery cone body includes an exterior textile layer, an interfacing layer coupled to the exterior textile layer, a cushioning layer coupled to the interfacing layer, and an interior textile layer coupled to the interfacing layer. The protective recovery cone collar includes a neck piece attached to the protective cone body having an exterior fabric layer, an interior cushioning layer coupled to the exterior fabric layer, and an interior elastic layer within the interior cushioning layer. Water-absorbent beads may further be included within an interior of the neck piece.
EQUINE EXERCISE BOOT ASSEMBLY AND ICE SPA
A boot assembly and method that simulates, in a static equine animal (stalled or hauled), the natural mechanical action of walking or other gaited exercise. The assembly has a boot, containing a shock absorbing pad that is fitted with one or more pulsing bladders disposed under or inside the shock absorbing pad. Pressuring and relaxing the pulsing bladder in the bottom of the boot rhythmically pushes against the sole and frog and against the toe of the equine hoof in much the same way that the hoof is exercised when the animal is moving. The pulsing action helps stimulate blood flow through the hoof and is beneficial to shod, injured, and transported horses. The assembly may be fitted on one or more hooves, and may be automated to provide timing and sequencing to simulate different gaits of the animal. In some aspects, the assembly is disposed in an ice boot or ice spa boot to also provide cryotherapy as well as simulated exercise.
Pet Hair Brush
An apparatus for brushing the hair of dogs and other animals. The apparatus comprises a hair brush with a depth guide that prevents the bristles from contacting the epidermis of the animal while its hair is brushed. Preventing the bristles from contacting the epidermis of the animal helps prevent injury and discomfort to the animal during grooming.
ABSORBENT DOG BED
A pet bed may include a structure with an outer shell that is configured to wick moisture away from a wet animal. The outer shell may have hydrophobic properties that permit a horizontal flow of moisture across a surface of the outer shell and the horizontal flow of moisture may lessen a concentration of a vertical flow of moisture. The pet bed may include a first padding layer, a second padding layer, and four or more absorbing layers positioned between the first padding layer and the second padding layer.
