Golf club head and method of manufacturing same
A golf club head has an inner cavity and comprises a face member and a head main body which a front opening, which are connected to each other. The head main body comprises a sole portion, and a weight member which has a specific gravity greater than that of the head main body is fixed to an inner surface of the sole portion. A weld which fix the weight member to the sole portion is disposed at the peripheral edge of the weight member. The weight member has the width in the toe-heel direction of the head, which is smaller on its rear side than its front side.
Supported iron set
The present invention is directed to a set of golf clubs comprising long irons, mid irons and short irons. Preferably, the long and mid irons have a face stabilizing bar and back panel that have a plurality of apertures in the face stabilizing bar and/or the back wall.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLD-FORGED, EXTRUDED ALUMINUM ALLOY TUBE
A method for manufacturing a cold-forged, extruded aluminum alloy tube includes the steps of: providing a primary material having a hollow columnar shape and made of an aluminum alloy material, and a first cold extrusion apparatus; processing the primary material to form a preform; subjecting the preform to a homogeneous annealing by heating to a temperature of about 410 C. to 510 C. and then cooling to a temperature of about 160 C. to 200 C.; testing the hardness of the preform; immersing the preform in a tank containing lubricant having a free total acidity concentration of 40 to 50 mg/L at a working temperature of 80 C. to 100 C.; and subjecting the preform to cold extrusion.
Co-forged golf club head and method of manufacture
A co-forged iron type golf club is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention discloses a co-forged iron type golf club with the body portion made out of a first material and at least one weight adjustment portion monolithically encased within the body portion of the co-forged iron type golf club head without the need for secondary attachment or machining operations. The present invention creates of an iron type golf club head from a pre-form billet that already contains two or more materials before the actual forging process resulting in a multi-material golf club head that doesn't require any post manufacturing operations such as machining, welding, swaging, gluing, and the like.

Method for Manufacturing Iron Golf Club Head, Iron Golf Club Head, and Iron Golf Club
Provided is a method for manufacturing an iron golf club head by forging a single round rod member with a pair of dies to form, as a single piece, a body and a neck into which a shaft is to be inserted. The method includes: a first step of heating the single round rod member into a heated material; a second step of placing the heated material in the pair of dies; and a third step of forging the heated material placed in the pair of dies. In the third step, the heated material is prevented from flowing out from parting surfaces of the respective dies at a sole side of the body in the pair of dies, and the heated material blocked at the sole side in the pair of dies flows toward each of a toe of the body and the neck in the pair of dies.
