The rotating cylinder has a used core sand inlet, an exhaust cylinder and a preliminary heating cylinder arranged from the rear and a regenerated core sand outlet formed at a front part thereof, the rotating cylinder being directly coupled to the burner at a front end, and including at least one combustion cylinder having passing holes through which the core sand and the flame from the burner are passed in a front part thereof.
Lining sock for foundry molding mix chute
A liner protects an interior surface of a chute that transfers workable foundry molding mix from a mixer to a machine for molding and hardening. The liner has an upper border portion and body portion. The upper border portion secures the liner to an upper portion of the chute. The body portion has at least one panel of a flexible material and is sized and adapted to line the interior surface of the chute. The liner also has a plurality of apertures through the upper border portion for attaching the upper border portion to the upper portion of the chute. The flexible material of the body portion is a woven fabric with polymeric fibers and, optionally, a polymeric coating.
Casting sand reclamation system and casting sand reclamation method
In a casting sand reclamation system and a casting sand reclamation method, an appropriate reclamation process is performed according to the properties of casting sand to improve the reclamation accuracy and the reclamation yield. Capacitance measuring devices 70 and 71 that measure the capacitance of casting sand 1 (recovered sand 1a or reclamation sand 1b) are arranged on an upstream side and a downstream side of a batch-type polishing device 7, and feedback control is performed based on the measurement results of the capacitances by these capacitance measuring devices 70 and 71. A sorting device 10 sorts the recovered sand 1a polished by the polishing device 7 into a sand grain component (reclamation sand) and a fine grain component (containing a binder), and has a capacity N times that of the polishing device 7. A control device 80 performs feedback control based on capacitance RU of the recovered sand 1a measured for each polishing process on an upstream side of the polishing device 7, and an average value of N capacitances RD of the reclamation sand 1b measured for each polishing process on a downstream side of the sorting device 10.
Mixing device in the screw antechamber of a twin-screw extruder
The invention relates to a mixing device for a twin-screw extruder, in particular a twin-screw extruder rotating in the opposite direction, comprising a first screw and a second screw, for mixing a melt flow in a screw antechamber, wherein the first screw has an extension in the form of a mixing screw tip connected to the first screw in a fixed manner, and a first melt channel, into which the first screw feeds, is arranged in a flow-connected manner via an elongated slot with a second melt channel, into which the second screw feeds.
Mixing system
The present invention relates to a mixing system for a bioreactor, comprising a plurality of supply units (10), each being able to hold media for use in a bioreactor a mixing unit (30) for creating a uniform mixing of media a first feeding mechanism (20), arranged to feed media from the supply units (10) into the mixing unit (30), a control unit (40) operatively connected to the first feeding mechanism (20) and the mixing unit (30), said control unit (40) being configured to control the first feeding mechanism (20) to feed predetermined amounts of media from the plurality of supply units (10) to the mixing unit (30), and further being configured to control the mixing unit (30) to create a uniform mixing of media. The invention also relates to a method for mixing media for use in a bioreactor.
Magnetic stir bar
Magnetic stir bar having at least one permanent magnet to spin the magnetic stir bar when the magnetic stir bar is subjected to a rotating magnetic field. The magnetic stir bar has a chamber to store a product within the magnetic stir bar. The magnetic stir bar has a closed configuration in which the chamber is closed and an open configuration in which the chamber is open. The magnetic stir bar automatically reconfigures itself from the closed configuration to the open configuration when said magnetic stir bar is spun at or above a threshold rotational speed.
Device for cooling slurry manufacturing mixer
A device for cooling a slurry manufacturing mixer-comprises: a rotation container that comprises a mixing part, which mixes slurry and has a temperature detection part, and a slurry discharge part, which is formed under the mixing part and has a discharge hole for discharging the slurry; a body that is positioned under the rotation container and has a through-hole formed therethrough, through which the rotation container is inserted; and a sealing member interposed between the rotation container and the body, wherein the mixing part comprises an inner container and an outer container, and a cooling water passage is formed between the inner container and the outer container.
Display device
Provided is a display apparatus that is capable of displaying a relationship between sand properties measured as time series. The display apparatus displays (i) a relationship between pieces of measured first sand property data and pieces of measured second sand property data, obtained in a first predetermined period, together with first and second reference ranges set for the first and second sand properties and (ii) a relationship between pieces of measured third sand property data and pieces of measured fourth sand property data, obtained in a second predetermined period, together with third and fourth reference ranges set for the third and fourth sand properties.
Mixer rotor pin with hole
An apparatus for inserting and removing a mixer rotor pin includes at least one rotor pin with a transverse bore, as well as a rod dimensioned for slidably engaging the transverse bore. The apparatus also includes a mixer rotor pin insertion and removal tool having a tool body.
