Masks and goggles having lens that block blue light from the eyes of animals to provide for better rest and to increase their melatonin levels are disclosed. Methods of using the blue light blocking masks and goggles to block blue light and even longer wavelengths of light are also disclosed.

METHOD OF SELECTING A GILT FOR BREEDING

A method of eliminating a gilt from selection for breeding comprising (i) obtaining a vaginal lipidome profile from a gilt at around the time of weaning and (ii) using the vaginal lipidome profile to assign the gilt as probable fertile or infertile; a method of analyzing a lipidome profile of a gilt vaginal swab comprising (i) receiving a vaginal swab obtained from a gilt at around the time of weaning and (ii) analyzing, or having analyzed, lipids obtained from the vaginal swab, and (iii) determining, or having determined, decreases/increases in lipid levels compared to normal; and a kit for obtaining a vaginal swab from a gilt.

METHOD OF USING PHOTON MODULATION FOR REGULATION OF HORMONES IN MAMMALS
20240108911 · 2024-04-04 · ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, apparatuses and methods for regulation hormone production in mammals. Examples include but are not limited to by creating electro-magnetic wave emission pulse trains (photons) of individual color spectrums in sufficient intensity to drive hormone production in a mammal, using a characteristic frequency or pattern to minimize the required input power necessary to regulate hormone production, while also allowing for the monitoring of the power consumption and other variables of the system. By controlling the duty cycle, intensity, wavelength band and frequency of photon signals to a mammal, production of specific hormones can be regulated through the cycling between blue, green, yellow, near-red, far-red, infrared and ultra violet photon modulation.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTION OF ESTRUS AND OPTIMAL TIME FOR EMBRYO TRANSFER OR ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION IN ANIMALS
20190223412 · 2019-07-25 ·

An apparatus and methods for detection of estrus and optimal time for embryo transfer or artificial insemination in animals. An arched polycarbonate housing is attached to an animal. A circuit board is disposed within the housing. A rechargeable battery mounted on the circuit board provides power to the apparatus. A switch mounted on the circuit board is actuated when a breeding behavior occurs. A controller mounted on the circuit board detects actuations of the switch to generate data indicative of breeding behavior. A transmitter transmits data indicative of breeding behavior to a remote receiver

METHOD FOR BUYING/SELLING PET BY USING CUSTOMIZED PET SELECTIVE MATING AND SERVER FOR EXECUTING SAME
20190147517 · 2019-05-16 ·

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a pet buying/selling method executed by a pet buying/selling server comprises the steps of: providing a customized pet down payment down payment request message to a customized pet purchaser terminal when customized pet purchasing requisition information including a mother pet and a father pet is received from the customized pet purchaser terminal; providing the customized pet purchasing requisition information to a corresponding customized pet producer terminal so as to request mating of the mother pet and the father pet when customized pet down payment down payment information is received from the customized pet purchaser terminal; receiving information according to the mating of the mother pet and the father pet from the customized pet producer terminal so as to provide the received information to the customized pet purchaser terminal; providing, to the customized pet purchaser terminal and a customized sibling pet purchaser terminal, information on customized sibling pets born according to the mating of the mother pet and the father pet from the customized pet producer terminal; and processing buying/selling when customized sibling pet final selection information is received from the customized pet purchaser terminal or customized sibling pet purchasing requisition information is received from the customized sibling pet purchaser terminal.

Anti mating apron
20190008123 · 2019-01-10 ·

The anti mating apron controls unwanted breeding of small ruminant livestock. The anti mating apron blocks the male's reproductive organ so that he is unable to penetrate the female. The anti mating apron is strapped to the body of the male livestock around the girth. The anti mating apron is clipped into place by a single side adjust plastic buckle and adjusted to fit snug but not tight. The anti mating apron is weighted with bbs that are sewn into the bottom of the anti mating apron. The weights of the anti mating apron keep the apron in place and generally doesn't allow the apron to get stuck to one side of the animal.

The present invention is used to provide a safe method of preventing unwanted breeding in small ruminant livestock while allowing the male to cohabitate with the herd and prevent young livestock from breeding with siblings and their own mother.

Oestrus detector

An oestrus detector includes a reservoir portion which contains a coloured liquid. The detector further includes a generally planar portion that is attached to and sealed from the reservoir portion, except for an open or closed passage in a seal line separating the reservoir portion and the generally planar portion. In use the liquid is squeezed from the reservoir portion, through the passage, and into the generally planar portion, when the reservoir portion receives pressure.
