A quick release leash which includes a flexible leash line that terminates in a male member of a quick release coupling. The quick release coupling has a female receiver which receives the male member in mating relation. A locking pin passage that intersects the female receiver. The male member of the quick release coupling has an aperture. A locking pin is axially movable in the locking pin passage and is biased by a biasing member into engagement with the aperture of the male member. When a force is exerted upon a manual release sufficient to overcome the biasing force of biasing member, the first end of the locking pin is withdrawn from the aperture of the male member and the male member is released. This quick release leash was developed as a safety device for water sports to quickly release a person from their board, but has wider application.

A restraint system for simultaneously maintaining a plurality of animate objects in an untangled position while the user is hands free is provided. The present invention embodies a 360-degree waist harness that operatively associates with a plurality of retractable bungee assemblies, each bungee assembly adapted to removably attach to a comprehensive vest or harness or a child or a pet, respectively. The bungee assemblies are selectively releasable from the 360-degree belt or the comprehensive vest or harness.

A restraint system for simultaneously maintaining a plurality of animate objects in an untangled position while the user is hands free is provided. The present invention embodies a 360-degree waist harness that operatively associates with a plurality of retractable bungee assemblies, each bungee assembly adapted to removably attach to a comprehensive vest or harness or a child or a pet, respectively. The bungee assemblies are selectively releasable from the 360-degree belt or the comprehensive vest or harness.

The present invention provides an animal harness comprising a harness body and a scale. The scale is secured to the harness body by a securement means. The harness can be utilized by a user to provide a specific amount of assistance to an animal using the harness because the scale will provide the user with the exact amount the animal weighs and how much assistance the user is providing the animal.

A guidance section includes a strip-shaped guide web with a front and a rear end. The guide web has at least one fastening element at the front end and leg loops arranged at the rear end. At least two leash guides are provided, one of which is arranged on the guide web in the region of or near the rear end and the other of which is arranged at a distance from the guide web in the direction of the front end.

Assembly of harness and sensor substrate plates for monitoring vital signals of a patient is provided. More specifically, the present invention provides a harness, a sensor substrate plate, and related devices for non-invasively monitoring vital signals of a patient. The sensor substrate plate provides removable attachment to the skin of a patient to measure vital signals of the patient. The sensor substrate plate comprises an elongated main body comprising an upper surface and an under surface. The upper surface is configured to removably contact the skin surface of the patient. Further, a plurality of slots on the upper surface of the main body is mechanically and electrically configured to hold sensors or electrodes for monitoring biometric parameters of the patient. The upper surface also includes a first through hole mechanically and electrically configured to hold an electrical connector; and a first end and a second end of the main body.

A pet garment structure includes a garment body, traction buckles, and a traction belt. The garment body has two foreleg sleeve openings, a collar edge, a distal edge, and at least first and second dorsal edges configured to be fastened to each other about the back of a pet, such that the collar edge and distal edge extends around the pet when the first and second dorsal edges are fastened. The traction buckles are located on proximate the first and second dorsal edges and are configured to connect to a traction rope. The traction buckles are connected by a traction belt wrapped configured to extend around the pet from below when the first and second dorsal edges are fastened such that the garment body extends around the pet with two legs of the pet extending through the foreleg sleeve openings. An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something. The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.

Methods, systems, and device for animal wearable technology are provided in accordance with various embodiments. Some embodiments include an animal wearable device that includes: a securing apparatus configured to be worn by an animal; multiple stimulation components coupled with different portions of the securing apparatus; and/or a computerized controller coupled with the securing apparatus and the multiple stimulation components. The computerized controller may be configured to provide stimulation to the animal through the multiple stimulation components. The computerized controller may be configured to separately and/or independently control each stimulation components from the multiple stimulation components. Some embodiments include a method that includes: determining one or more signals at a computerized controller coupled with a securing apparatus configured to be worn by an animal; and/or activating, based on the one or more determined signals, one or more stimulation components from multiple stimulation components coupled with different portions of the securing apparatus.

A collar for a pet includes a mesh collar body, the mesh collar body comprising a cidal metal or cidal metal alloy in which the cidal metal or cidal metal alloy is the major structural component of the collar. The mesh collar body extends from and around the neck of the pet to limit interaction of the pet's head or mouth with other parts of the pet's body. The mesh collar body allows air surrounding and within the collar to pass through the collar to provide cidal action, air purification, and self-disinfection. The collar can be fashioned into an elizabethan collar in which the mesh collar body has a truncated conical, flat, or other shape. The invention can also be provided as a truncated conical insert for a conventional elizabethan collar.
