BREAKAWAY BUCKLE DEVICE FOR A PET COLLAR
A breakaway buckle device for a pet collar. The breakaway buckle device includes a first buckle portion, a second buckle portion, and a coupling mechanism arranged to releasably couple the first buckle portion with the second buckle portion. The coupling mechanism can be manipulated to adjust a breakaway force required for the first buckle portion to break relatively away from the second buckle portion.
ELECTRONIC TRAINING COLLAR AND BASE SYSTEM
An electronic training collar and base system using at least one electronic training collar in combination with at least one base to prevent the pet from entering the area around the base. The electronic training collar has a housing with a receiver, a shocking component, an audio alarm component, and a vibrating signal component. The audio alarm component is adapted to emit a tone when activated, the vibrating signal component is adapted to emit a vibration when activated, and the shocking component is adapted to emit a shock when activated. A base has a transmitter that emits a signal which is received by the receiver of the electronic training collar when a pet wearing the electronic training collar is within a range of the base effectively activating either the shocking component, the audio alarm component, the vibrating signal component or a combination of the components. The base may be shaped as a mat which is durable and hand washable. A beacon scanner and beacon transmitter could be used in place of the receiver and transmitter respectively.
Electronic Animal Collar Assembly
An electronic animal collar assembly for tracking, confining, and training an animal includes a collar, which is securable around a neck of an animal, such as a canine. An electronics module comprising a transceiver, a stimulator, and a receiver is engaged to the collar. The transceiver is Global Positioning System enabled. Programming code is selectively positionable on an electronic device, such as a cellphone of a user, enabling communication with and control of the electronics module to selectively track the animal, using the transceiver, and to selectively confine and correct the animal using the stimulator and one or both of the transceiver and the receiver.
NON-TANGLING DOG LEASH
A dog leash that prevents tangling between a dog's legs. The dog leash has a flexible cord with a handle at a first end, a fastener at a second end for refastenably connecting the flexible cord to a collar, and a stiffening agent applied to an exterior surface of the flexible cord along a partial length of the flexible cord near the second end.
Magnetic quick-release connector for pet collars
An improved quick-release connector that may be used with a pet collar. The connector is fabricated entirely of metal and operates using one magnet. The connector is easily modified to break apart under different pull forces.
UNIVERSAL STIMULATION CONNECTION TEST APPARATUS FOR ANIMAL ELECTRONIC COLLARS
An animal behavior modification system includes: an animal behavior modification assembly configured for modifying a behavior of an animal, the animal behavior modification assembly including: a collar device configured for being worn by the animal; a stimulation apparatus attached to the collar device, the stimulation apparatus including a plurality of electrodes configured for providing an electrical stimulation to the animal; and a stimulation connection test apparatus attached to the collar device and electrically coupled with the stimulation apparatus and configured for determining whether the plurality of electrodes are adequately electrically coupled with the animal, the stimulation connection test apparatus being spaced apart from the stimulation apparatus.
Dog harness with ball pouch
A small animal harness comprising an elastically deformable forechest pouch for carrying a ball, snacks or other objects. The pouch is carried by a quadrilateral base member to which is attached a pair of flexible shoulder straps and a pair of flexible brisket straps whose ends converge over the animal's withers into a rigid connection plate so that the brisket straps are slidable within the plate and extend outwardly to be connected to a leash.
Leash locking mechanism
The present invention is a locking device that can be integrated onto a leash, and which provides a solution to the problem of slip-on collars over tightening or being inconvenient to use. The locking device comprises of a main body, a lock piece, a hook, and one or more arms. The one or more arms are connected within the main body to engage with the hook and the lock piece to lock a width of a collar portion which is formed from the pieces integrated onto the leash. The main body is configured to slide on the leash, and the lock piece is fixed onto the leash and when the lock piece slides into the main body, the main body is prevented from sliding. The hook is connected to a first end of the leash and when inserted into the main body forms the collar portion.
Buckle and Strap Arrangements
Various arrangements for different purposes are created with a strap, a flat metal buckle or catch, and a receiver. The buckle or catch and the receiver have having slotted openings to attach the element to the strap at positions which may be adjustable for fixed. A receiver post with a magnetic base engages an opening in the buckle or catch for a secure engagement of the buckle or catch with the receiver. Other arrangements are also described.
Collar-Leash Assembly with Integrated Reel
The invention relates to a collar-leash assembly with integrated reel for a pet such as a dog. The leash of this collar-leash assembly can be withdrawn by unwinding, then, after use, retracted by allowing it to wind itself up. This collar-leash assembly with integrated reel for a pet comprises:—a collar (1) intended to be wound around a part of the body of the animal,—a housing (2) secured to the collar (1) and provided with a leash reel (22, 25), this housing comprising a base (4), a housing body (10), a part having a hollow, tapped center (16, 27, 31), and an assembly screw that is able to cooperate with this part (16, 27, 31), the base (4) comprising a planar part (5) having a hole (6) at its center and two branches (7) and the housing body (10) being free to rotate relative to the base (4) of the housing (2), a leash (43) of which one end is secured in the leash reel (22, 25) and—a gripping loop (3) which is secured to the other end of the leash (43) and of which the interior corresponds to the lateral perimeter (13) of the housing (2).
