Inclement Weather Pet Safety Device
The present invention relates to an inclement weather pet safety device which protects pets when exercising outdoors during inclement weather conditions. The device comprises a secure and comfortable wearable harness that fits over the front legs and torso of a dog or other animal. The top of the harness supports a screen or roof configuration positioned over the animal's head and back to maintain protection against inclement weather conditions, excessive heat or cold, etc. In this manner, the inclement weather pet safety device of the present invention provides users with a secure and comfortable wearable harness and roof configuration for protecting pets when exercising outdoors in any type of weather.
TRAINING COLLAR AND METHOD FOR USE WITH PETS TO PREVENT TUGGING
Various methods and apparatuses for correcting an animal to heel. Generally, the present disclosure teaches an animal training apparatus for correcting an animal to heel. The animal training apparatus includes a collar adapted to operably engaged with an animal, a stimulus unit operably engaged with the collar, and a control unit operably engaged with the collar and operatively connected with the stimulus unit, wherein the control unit is adapted to operably engage with a leash cord. The animal training apparatus also includes a tension measuring device of the control unit operably engaged with the collar and adapted for measuring tension in the leash cord and producing an electrical signal when the tension exceeds a predetermined tension threshold; wherein the control unit is selectively programmable to generate at least one correction stimulus to the animal when the animal exceeds the predetermined tension threshold set in the control unit.
Animal sensory stimulation with fur differential impedance detection
A collar-mounted location sensor and stimulation unit includes a body. A generally planar stimulation unit and differential impedance-based fur detector in combination protect the animal from harmful stimulation. At least one sensory stimulator is configured to provide at least one of auditory, kinesthetic, and visual stimulation responsive to an output of a location sensor. One or more of a voltage, current, oscillation frequency, extent of modulation, or other output characteristic of the stimulation unit output is varied responsive to the detected fur differential impedance to protect and benefit both the body and mind of the animal.
INSECT REPELLANT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
Insect repellant articles and the use of the insect repellant articles. In accordance with certain embodiments, the insect repellant article comprises scent releasing component capable of deterring insects and/or other pests. The insect repellant articles are particularly useful in repelling insects such as bees, which can cause allergic reactions in pets or other animals.
Dog collar
In various representative aspects, the present invention relates generally to an improved dog collar that protects the safety of the dog and its larynx and trachea by utilizing padded and resilient cushions on the inside of the dog collar in combination with one or more elastic bands within the perimeter of the dog collar. These elements provide a means for absorbing shock forces when a dog suddenly jerks or exerts force on the dog collar when it is connected to a stationary object or its owner by a leash.
SOUND COLLECTING APPARATUS AND ANIMAL INFORMATION OUTPUT APPARATUS
A sound collecting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a sound collecting part that detects sound in a body of an animal, a sound absorbing member that is provided on the sound collecting part, and a contact member that is provided on the sound absorbing member such that the contact member contacts a body surface of the animal, wherein the sound collecting part includes a housing, an opening causing the inside of the housing to be in communication with the outside of the housing on a surface of the housing proximate to the sound absorbing member, and a sound collecting element provided inside the housing for detecting the sound, wherein the sound absorbing member covers the opening of the housing, and protrudes toward the inside of the housing.
Shoulder Strap Type Electronic Cooling Equipment for Pets
The disclosure provides shoulder strap type electronic cooling equipment for pets. The shoulder strap type electronic cooling equipment comprises a shoulder strap worn on the back of the pet, wherein an elastic adjustment band and a fan mechanism are arranged on one side of the shoulder strap; and when the pet wears the shoulder strap, the fan mechanism can be freely adjusted in a head and neck area of the pet, and the fan mechanism can supply air to cool the pet. The disclosure has the beneficial effects that in the shoulder strap type electronic cooling equipment for the pets, the fans with freely-adjustable angles are arranged on the traditional shoulder strap, so that the head and the torso of the pet can be cooled, and the phenomenon of heatstroke is avoided in hot weather; meanwhile, the LED lamps are further arranged, and the LED lamps can emit light when the fans are running, so that a user can confirm the position of the pet through the always-on or flashing LED lamps while walking the pet; and therefore, not only can the pet be cooled, but also the technical effect that the pet is not easy to lose is realized.
ANIMAL COLLAR WITH IMPROVED CAMERA SIGHTLINES
An animal collar has an adjustable band having a first end and a second end, the first end and second mutually coupled and a platform disposed within the band. The collar has at least one adjustable arm depending from the platform disposed within the band, the adjustable arm comprising a returnably resilient elongated shaft having a first end and a second end, the second end of the shaft of the adjustable arm having a camera. A plurality of braces are disposed between the platform and the adjustable arm. The collar includes tracking and lighting.
Pet Leash Assembly
The present invention relates to an improved pet leash for use with two or more pets, such as dogs, that enables a pet owner to control two or more dogs and allows two or more dogs to be walked simultaneously. The leash allows one animal or dog to control or guide the movements and speed of another dog, thereby enabling the first animal to function as a ‘pack leader’ and guide the second animal on how to properly walk or heel on a leash. The leash maintains proximity between the dogs and prevents dogs from running off and jumping on the owner or others, ultimately keeping people and animals safe. The leash offers a way for pet owners, kennel employees and many others to keep optimal control over a plurality of dogs simultaneously on one leash.
Technologies for user-assisted machine learning
Technologies for user-assisted machine learning includes a compute device configured to request user assistance to classify sensor data in response to a determination that a confidence score associated with the classification of the sensor data is below a threshold value and/or if the classification of the sensor data is unknown. In an illustrative embodiment, the compute device is configured to communicate with an activity monitor device, such as a smart pet collar, to determine activities of the subject (e.g., a pet) based on classification data received from the smart pet collar.
