Automatic animal door
An automatic animal door includes a first door column, a second door column, a top plate, a door plate, and a driving mechanism. The first door column defines a first groove The second door column defines a second groove. The top plate is connected with a top end of the first door column and a top end the second door column. The top plate defines an entrance with the first door column and the second door column. The door plate is disposed between the first door column and the second door column. The door plate is movable along the first groove and the second groove to close or expose the entrance. The driving mechanism is disposed on the top plate. The driving mechanism is connected with the door plate to drive the door plate to move along the first groove and the second groove.
Swiftlets farming for production of edible bird's nests
A swift let breeding facility, for use in creating and harvesting edible bird's nests. The facility includes sub-systems for injecting live insect and worm prey, and water, into an aerial enclosure to provide a feeding system imitative of a natural swift let feeding environment.

Portable basket colony for growing and transport and method of use
A colony basket and method of using the same for handling poultry from DOC through the growing process and on to a production facility comprising a harvesting system, a loading system, a transport system, an unloading and storing system, hanging system and cleaning system. The system and method performs the steps of harvesting and colonizing live poultry into a singly stackable and transportable colony basket, stacking and loading the trays on a transport, unloading and temporarily storing the poultry for subsequent processing.
Laying Nest with Rack Drive Floor Expulsion System
This invention relates to laying nest having a rack drive expulsion system. As disclosed herein, the invention preferably comprises a laying nest for hens comprising a box and a rack drive floor expulsion system. The floor pivotably moves between first and second positions by virtue of a gear rack that is fixedly connected to and disposed within the box, and a gear wheel that is rotatably connected to the floor. Accordingly, the expulsion system provides for the selected removal of hens from the laying nests as desired.
Automated caged bird spray applicator system
The disclosure relates to a spray applicator system for accurately and precisely dosing liquid formulations, including vaccines and probiotic formulations, to caged avian animals. In particular, the disclosure relates to spray applicators, having improved acceptance by the avian animals, relative to more disruptive prior spray applicators. The disclosed automated caged spray applicator system is designed to attach to and function with automated poultry feeding systems, routinely used in poultry house settings.
Collapsible kennel
A collapsible enclosure having a top panel, a bottom panel, two side panels, a front panel having an opening, and a rear panel. The top panel, bottom panel, two side panels, front panel, and rear panel are connected to one another to form a substantially rectangular enclosure having a door in the opening for ingress and egress. The side panels include a peripheral edging containing a looped frame. A method of collapsing the kennel is also disclosed.

The front and rear panels each include a peripheral edging containing a looped frame. The side panels each include a peripheral edging containing opposed side frames, the side frames each having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends being attached to respective looped frames. A method of collapsing the kennel is also disclosed.
REDUCED WEIGHT LIVE POULTRY HAULING SYSTEM
A reduced-weight poultry cage is used in conjunction with a reduced-weight trailer to transport live poultry for maximizing the poundage of poultry being transported while reducing the number of trips and fuel expenses. The poultry cage includes a combination of aluminum and plastic elements that reduce cage weight, provide for nesting of cages in stacks as well as easy replacement of failed parts. Furthermore, a drop-deck aluminum trailer with a reduced floor and guide rail alignment stops allows for a durable yet lightweight trailer that can haul a plurality of stacks of these poultry cages, thereby maximizing cubic feet availability while being compliant with various road and bridge laws.
Use of glycyl glutamine against depression
A prophylactic or therapeutic agent is provided for depression (including each subtype according to DSM-IV of depression) or anxiety by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain includes administration of glycyl-glutamine or cyclo glycyl-glutamine, a derivative that could cross the blood-brain barrier and could be used in peripheral applications.
