09877763 · 2018-01-30 · ·

A chip-removing tool of a surgical torque-transferring instrument includes a distal engagement segment which is adjoined by a tool shaft whose proximal end portion is prepared for a torque-transferring insertion into a tool mounting of the instrument. The proximal end portion is subdivided at least in a functional section torque transmission and a functional section axial locking which is axially spaced therefrom. The functional section axial locking is arranged with respect to the engagement segment so as to be proximal relative to the functional section torque transmission.

Power tool

The invention relates to a machine tool with a tool receiving device that is movable around an output shaft. The tool receiving device is designed to hold a tool device on the machine tool such that the output shaft and a tool rotation axis substantially coincide. The tool receiving device has at least one torque transmission region and a holding device. To transmit a driving force to the tool device, the torque transmission region has at least two output area regions arranged at a distance from said output shaft, with each having a multiplicity of surface points. The tangent planes to said surface points are inclined in regard to an axial plane including said output shaft. The tangent planes are inclined in regard to a radial plane extending perpendicularly to the output shaft. The machine tool thus transmits the output torque to the tool device via the tool receiving device.

ACCESSORY TOOL

An accessory tool includes an effector end including a body having first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a base shoulder adjacent the second end. The accessory tool further includes a shank coupled to the effector end. The shank includes a tool engagement portion configured to be received within a tool and having a hexagonal cross section defining a maximum outer width, a first reduced diameter portion disposed adjacent the effector end and defining a minimum outer dimension that is less than the maximum outer width, a fillet extending contiguous from the first reduced diameter portion and flaring outward to the base shoulder, and a second reduced diameter portion disposed adjacent the tool engagement portion and configured to receive a ball detent. The fillet defines a first radius of curvature, and the second reduced diameter portion defines a second radius of curvature.

HYDRAULIC EXPANSION CHUCK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH AN EXPANSION CHUCK

Hydraulic expansion chuck with a basic body, with an expansion bush which is received in the basic body and defines a reception space for a tool to be clamped, and with a pressure chamber which is delimited between the expansion bush and the basic body. A securing pin which extends through the basic body and the expansion bush into the reception space. Also broadly contemplated herein is a method for producing a hydraulic expansion chuck via: providing a basic body with a blind hole, into which an internal thread is cut. An expansion bush is then soldered into the basic body. Finally, an orifice is made at the bottom of the blind hole and extends through the material of the expansion bush into a tool reception space which is delimited in the expansion bush.

A milling tool has a tool shank and a cutting head fastened to the forward end of the tool shank by way of a clamping connection. The clamping connection has a protrusion with clamping faces, and a recess with centering faces that interact with the clamping faces. Each of the centering faces has a first region where the centering faces are spaced from a longitudinal axis of the tool shank by a first distance and a second region at a smaller distance. The first region merges into the second region. The clamping faces of the protrusion are introducible into the recess between the first regions of the centering faces and are movable, by rotation of the cutting head about the longitudinal axis, into a clamping position in which the clamping faces interact in a force-fit with the second regions of the centering faces.
