Tool holding structure
Provided is a tool holding structure capable of effectively preventing a cutting tool from coming off a chuck portion. An outer fitting portion A is formed in an outer face of a shank portion 2 of a cutting tool T and an inner fitting portion B is formed in an inner face of a chuck portion 12 of a tool holder. A fitting member 20 is provided to be fitted to the outer fitting portion A and the inner fitting portion B respectively. The fitting member 20 includes a protruding portion 22 which protrudes from an outer circumference of the shank portion 2 when fitted to the outer fitting portion A. A guide groove 18 is formed for guiding the protruding portion 22 of the fitting member 20 from an open side of an inner space 13 to the inner fitting portion B. The inner fitting portion B includes a rotation preventing face for preventing relative rotation between a holder body 10 and the cutting tool T in association with contact thereof with the protruding portion 22 and a slip-out preventing face for preventing slip-out of the cutting tool T in association with contact thereof with the protruding portion 22.
Plug-and-socket device
In an electrical plug-and-socket device for transferring electrical energy from an external source of current to an electrical load arranged in a body, preferably in a chuck body of a chuck, in particular an electrical drive motor for actuating the clamping jaws of the chuck, consisting of: —a socket possessing at least two accommodation openings, a body and an electrical load arranged therein, each of which is connected to the source of current via an electrical cable and of at least two plugs connected to the load by one electrical cable each, with the plugs arranged in the body and coupled to the particular accommodation openings of the socket during the electrical energy transfer, and in which the plugs can be removed from the accommodation openings following the energy transfer, and automatic plug-and-socket connection should be created.
Fastener extraction ratchet bit system
A fastener extraction ratchet bit system for facilitating extraction of stripped fasteners by permitting attachment of extraction bits to an air drive ratchet. The system includes a driving tool and a fitting coupled to and extending from the driving tool. A drill socket is coupled to a drill bit wherein the drill bit is selectively couplable to the fitting such that the driving tool provides a driving force to the drill bit. An extraction socket is coupled to an extraction bit wherein the extraction bit is also selectively couplable to the fitting such that the driving tool provides the driving force to the extraction bit.
Work piece chuck of a manipulator
The present invention provides a work piece chuck of manipulator in the field of mechanical technology. The chuck comprises a chuck sleeve and an ejector pin set within the chuck sleeve. An elastic clamping element is provided at the front end of the chuck sleeve. The ejector pin could move between a first position and a second position along the axial direction of the chuck sleeve. When the ejector pin is in the first position, the outer circumference of the ejector pin extrudes the clamping element to distort and expand outward to form an expansion state. When the ejector pin is in the second position, the outer circumference of the ejector pin is out of contact with the clamping element to restore the clamping element. The chuck has a number of advantages including firm connection, high reliability and high use value.
Interchangeable tool bit holder
An apparatus for holding interchangeable tool bits includes a body including inner walls defining first and second bit holding spaces configured to receive first and second interchangeable tool bits, a resiliently deformable bit holder coupled to the body and separating the first and second bit holding spaces, the first bit holding space adjacent to and encircled by an inner surface region of the resiliently deformable bit holder and the second bit holding space adjacent to an outer surface region of the resiliently deformable bit holder, such that the inner surface region and the outer surface region of the resiliently deformable bit holder are configured to deform against the first and second interchangeable tool bits respectively, to hold the first and second interchangeable tool bits when the first and second interchangeable tool bits are in the first and second bit holding spaces. Other apparatuses and systems are disclosed.
MACHINE SPINDLE WITH EJECTING MEANS
A workholding apparatus (10) wherein a draw bar (22) effects chucking and de-chucking of a workpiece (W) and wherein un-seating of the workholding apparatus is effected by piston-like mechanisms (30) located in a machine spindle (2).
Hand held rotary tool with adapter for quick connection to accessories
A hand-held rotary tool includes a housing that encloses a motor having an output shaft. The tool includes a quick connect adaptor configured to connect an accessory to the output shaft. The adaptor includes a driver that is connected to the output shaft and rotates in concert with the output shaft. An outer surface of the driver has a first flat. The adaptor includes a receiver that includes a connector configured to detachably connect with the housing, and a torque transfer device configured to receive the driver. An inner surface of the torque transfer device includes a second flat that engages with the first flat in such a way that rotation of the driver results in rotation the torque transfer device relative to the connector. The adaptor includes an output device that supports the accessory and that is driven by the torque transfer device to move relative to the connector.
Surgical instrument
A tool, in particular for use as a surgical drill, has a main tool body which, in order to be connected to a tool attachment unit, has a fixing unit which is provided to be at least partly unusable after the main tool body has been detached from the tool attachment unit. The fixing unit has at least one form-fit element, which is provided to accept axial tensile forces in order to axially secure the main tool body to the tool attachment unit. The fixing unit has an assembly direction and a deflection element which points in the assembly direction, and which is provided for movably attaching the form-fit element to the main tool body. It is proposed that the form-fit element and the deflection element have different directions of extension.
Tool arrangement
A tool arrangement with a screw-in tool and a tool receiver, the screw-in tool having a thread for engagement in a counter thread on the tool receiver. The counter thread and the thread have different thread contours and therefore, in the screwed condition, these adapt to one another by elastic deformation.
Cutting tool
A cutting tool including an insert and a holder to which the insert is secured. The insert has a rod with a substantially circular transverse cross-section. The insert includes a shank portion and a cutting edge portion. The cutting edge portion is located at an end portion continuous with the shank portion. In the cutting edge portion, one end of a cutting edge ridge protrudes toward the periphery of the rod. When the insert is secured to the holder, the cutting edge ridge has a negative radial rake angle.
